Visit the weekly markets, which are excellent for all things local, should you wish to enjoy a night of cooking and dining in.
Beccles is also home to the lido open-air heated swimming pool, seasonal opening, booking recommended. The quintessential town of Southwold, with its pier and sandy beach, numerous shops, pubs and restaurants. Coastal town of Aldeburgh has a good selection of restaurants, serving fresh seafood, and shops.
Market town of Framlingham with magnificent 12th Century castle and parkland offer a historic treat for all. Saturday and Tuesday markets for local produce, together with trinkets and collectibles. Shops, boutiques, antiques, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
