Gather with friends or family for a memorable stay at this large property in Appledore. Wander through the charming village’s narrow, winding streets lined with pastel-coloured cottages, browsing the independent shops and soaking up the pleasant views across the Torridge Estuary. The bustling quayside is perfect for watching fishing boats come and go while enjoying a famous ice cream. Between April and October take the foot ferry across to Instow and take a stroll on the beach. Just 3 miles away, the golden sands of Westward Ho! beckon for a classic beach day, or amble the South West Coast Path, offering breathtaking views along the rugged shoreline. History lovers can explore Bideford (3 miles), home to the fascinating Burton Art Gallery and the historic Pannier Market, or step back in time at Tapeley Park (4 miles), a grand country house with beautiful Italian gardens. The Big Sheep (5 miles) is a fantastic day out for families, with farm animals, rollercoasters, and live shows. Enter through the front door into a characterful lounge, where a feature fireplace takes centre stage. Wooden beams overhead and exposed stone walls add character and warmth, setting a tone that continues throughout this beautiful retreat. On the ground floor, you'll find a cosy double bedroom alongside a bathroom, ideal for those who prefer single-storey living. The inviting dining room offers a welcoming space for family meals, with two steps leading up to a fully equipped kitchen, where you can prepare everything from hearty breakfasts to indulgent dinners. From the dining room, a staircase guides you to the first floor, where three further bedrooms await. The elegant king-size master bedroom boasts its own en-suite shower room, while a second king-size room hosts a striking four-poster bed for a truly luxurious stay. An inviting twin room completes the sleeping arrangements, along with a spacious family bathroom. Outside, steps lead up to a south facing private patio area with garden furniture, which is a perfect suntrap for relaxing with a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Roadside parking is available nearby, or there’s a pay-and-display car park at the end of the street.
