Architect designed house, set back from the picturesque Thames Dock-Greenland Quay.
Within a private residential close with fantastic transport links from Zone2 Canada Water (for Jubilee Underground Tube Line) and Surrey Quays (London Overground)- both just a short walk away or experience the Thames River bus service with trips to the West End, Greenwich or the O2!
Over 3 floors with private patio area and parking for one vehicle this is a perfect London stay for up to 4guests to enjoy!
Greenland Quay is a peaceful and desirable area of SE16, South East London. This Thames Dock area offers a relaxed atmosphere, tree-lined walkways, cycle and pedestrian paths, local amenities, spectacular views of Canary Wharf and the City and fantastic transport links.
Hop on the Thames Uber River boat, at nearby, Greenland, Surrey Quays, Pier on Rope Street to Greenwich and the World famous O2 Arena eastwards or to Canary Wharf, London Bridge, Blackfriars, Westminster and Waterloo westwards.
Set back slightly from the Quay, within a private close, this peaceful house is set over three (3) carefully designed floors.
Guests enter the private, fully fenced, patio area, with outside table and chairs. At ground floor level of the house guests first enter the modern, open plan kitchen/dining room area. The kitchen is well-equipped with plentiful work surface space, fridge freezer, fitted oven and hob and appliances and equipment available to prepare meals. There is also a coffee (bean) machine, microwave, dishwasher and blender available.
Within the dining room area- there is a glass table with lighting above and with seating for up to four (4) guests to comfortably socialise and enjoy meals together. There is a door from the dining area which opens out to the private outdoor area- perfect for warmer days!
Leading on from the kitchen/dining area is the cosy sitting room. This space has a corner sofa with cushions, side tables and has a Smart TV (please note that personal log ins are required to access the TV Apps). Guests can relax together here. There are velux skylight windows buit into the ceiling which allow natural light. Along with spotlights and a floor lamp for alternative ambiance options.
On this ground floor is also a small restroom with WC, basin and over basin mirror.
From the hallway opposite the front entrance- stone stairs lead up to the first floor. On this floor is the impressive Master bedroom, which overlooks the patio area, to the front of the house. There is a King(UK) sized bed, built in bedside lamps, bedside table and a Smart TV for guest to enjoy (please note that personal log ins are required to access the TV Apps). There are large, fitted wardrobes, which include full length mirrored doors and provide plenty of space for guest belongings. A wonderful design feature within this Master bedroom is the freestanding bathtub!
Leading on from the bedroom is a spacious ensuite shower room with shower cubicle, WC, basin, over basin mirror and towel rail. There are some under sink drawers for guest belongings.
From the first floor landing, guests then follow the bespoke, glass stairs up to the second/top floor of the house. This loft space is furnished with a Double(UK) bed, bedside shelving unit, lamp, full length wall-mounted mirror and fitted wardrobe area which has both shelves and some hanging space for guest belongings. There is a large velux window flooding the room with natural light.
Leading on from this bedroom is a further en-suite shower room with, shower, basin, over basin mirror, WC and towel rail.
There is a parking space to the front of the property for one vehicle, just infront of the shed. Any other parking within the close is subject to availability.
On surrounding Greenland Quay parking is generally reserved for permit holders but it is free to park here from 6:30pm(18.30pm) weekdays and during the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays free parking)- Please note there is no parking permit available with this property.
The house is located within the London Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) and charges may apply for drivers.
There are various convenience stores and supermarkets locally, including Tesco Express located on Sirius House, London SE16 7UD approximately a five (5) minute walk away which is open daily 6AM - 11PM or a larger Tesco Extra Supermarket, located at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre which is open daily 6AM - Midnight, excluding Sunday where opening times are 11AM - 5PM You will also find a Pharmacy here which Opens 8AM - 8PM daily with reduced Sunday opening hours.
You will have access to the entire house during your stay.
Please note that personal log-ins are required for the Smart TV Apps.
There are two steep bespoke flights of stairs within the house, one stone staircase and the other glass staircase. There is no banister available however the wall can be used for support, if required,

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
