Cape of South Africa, this unique two-level, 4-bedroom house can
comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. Positioned between the
mountains and the ocean, the town is adjacent to the Onrusrivier and
conveniently close to Hermanus.
The exterior boasts a modern design, while the interior embraces a
classic Cape-style charm, adorned with décor that perfectly captures
the essence of a seaside holiday. Upon ascending the scenic upper level
via a staircase, you will be welcomed by an open-plan layout
complemented by a refreshing sea breeze that flows through the living
area, which features a lounge area, a dining space, and a fully
equipped kitchen fitted with everything youâll need for a relaxing
self-catering stay. The property is also furnished with a washing
machine for added convenience.
The upstairs living area offers comfortable seating, enhanced by plush
accent pillows, along with Wi-Fi and a Smart TV for your entertainment.
The other half of the room is dedicated to the dining area, highlighted
by a large whitewashed wooden table with ample seating. The space is
thoughtfully decorated with coastal touches, from seashells to anchors,
perfectly capturing the by-the-sea vibe. With the cooler ocean breeze,
the living area also includes an indoor fireplace, ensuring warmth and
comfort during chilly evenings.
This coastal home features four beautifully appointed bedrooms. The
first bedroom includes a queen-size bed and a private en-suite bathroom
with a shower, toilet, and bathtub located upstairs. The second, third,
and fourth bedrooms each have a double bed and share a bathroom on the
ground floor. The shared bathrooms are equipped with a shower,
washbasin, and toilet for the convenience of guests. All linens and
towels are provided during your stay.
The property features a stunning rooftop deck that provides guests with
panoramic views of the ocean and mountains of Vermont. Additionally, it
boasts a private garden and swimming pool, perfect for relaxation. The
outdoor space includes a dedicated braai area and a pergola, complete
with comfortable outdoor furniture, making it ideal for enjoying
gatherings by the pool.
During your visit to Vermont, you'll notice a salt pan that fills with
water after rainfall, often visited by flamingos. The area also offers
a rock pool, lush green spaces, and a coastal pathway. Nearby
activities include bird watching, wine tasting, and kayaking, providing
plenty of options to explore and enjoy the surroundings.
For security and safety purposes, guests are required to provide full names, identification, details of any children travelling, vehicle registrations, and estimated arrival times prior to check-in. This information will be treated confidentially, and failure to submit it on time may result in delayed or denied check-in.
All our properties are strictly non-smoking, and tenants accept full liability for all minors and visitors. Pets, parties, and events are not permitted.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a complimentary mid-stay clean, including fresh linen, will be provided. Additional cleaning services can be arranged upon request with a minimum of 24 hours' notice and will incur an extra charge.
A refundable key and breakage deposit is payable prior to check-in, with the amount determined by the quality of the establishment and applied at the discretion of the owner or management.
Please be advised that, to promote a sustainable and comfortable experience for all our guests, electricity usage is governed by a fair use policy that permits a reasonable amount of daily consumption. In the rare event of unusually high usage, a reimbursement may be requested.
