Dies ist ein für Bob Timberlake charakteristisches Zuhause mit exquisiter Handwerkskunst und luxuriösen Oberflächen. Folgen Sie den gepflasterten Straßen, vorbei an Steinmauern und privaten Wasserfällen, zu diesem herrlichen Haus mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Wie ein Gemälde von Bob Timberlake wurde dieses Meisterwerk liebevoll aus hochwertigem Stein, Granit, Rinde und Hartholz gefertigt.
Die Liebe zum Detail und die Handwerkskunst des Hauses sind wunderbar. Von der massivholzgeschnitzten Tür und den versetzten Fensterrahmen bis zum Gemälde im großen Raum, das den Flachbildfernseher bei Nichtgebrauch geschmackvoll verbirgt, wurden keine Details übersehen.

amazing weekend

the home is absolutely beautiful. very clean which was very important to me bringing 10 professionals to the home! spacious, open, cozy. cant wait to bring my daughters back with some good friends. the property had quite a bit of litter off the balconies. A friend and i picked up all the litter and it filled an entire garbage bag. the property looked much better after looking down at the road!! too pretty a site for that!!

Awesome location, good communication.. we let our hosts know about a few plumbing issues as well as internet troubles. They were quick to respond and helped us rectify the situations. Would totally stay again!

Breathtaking views and PLENTY of space

We had a very memorable weekend at this property with family from three states attending. The house and detail of the build kept conversations going and everything really is spaced out and placed well. Plenty of beds and space for cooking/entertaining. The grill didn’t work but that was ok because there’s a flat top grill in the kitchen and a hood. The beds were clean and the interior was generally well taken care of but the toilets wouldn’t flush half the time (luckily we were able to fix them when they broke, over and over). Plenty of hot water in such a big house and not a peep or sound from another neighbor while we were there. Wifi was basically unusable but who cares? Didn’t go to the mountains for the internet. Cable TV took care of the needs of those who wanted it, the rest of us hung on one or more of the gigantic covered porches. Overall, an amazing property and well worth the price!!!

Lovely home, but very disappointed

The home is lovely and plenty of room is provided for a large group. However, we chose this home over others because it stated WiFi was available and included. Given the nature of working remotely due to COVID, this point was critical. When we arrived I received a call from Carolina Cabin Rentals saying the WIFI was down and a new modem was being delivered overnight. We came home from town to find the modem on the porch. After calling Carolina Cabin Rentals, maintenance eventually came Friday night to install. We were told by maintenance it was an AT&T issue and they could not come out until Monday. We even went to town, bought a hotspot with a years service contract, brought it home and there was still limited signal. As a result, my husband, one of the hosts of the weekend, had to leave and go home in order to do what was needed for his job. The company was not prepared for this and in fact the last entry in the guest book commented on this same issue, so its easy to assume they were aware of the internet issues. We received no help from Carolina Cabin Rentals. This is a multi-million dollar home in which we paid handsomely to stay. Cabinets in the kitchen are broken, handles on windows are off and laying on the windowsill. Some basic maintenance and management oversight would make this a five star property, but right now it is not.

As always renting from Carolina Cabin Rentals is a win win. This home was big enough for all. Others had issues with parking we didn't. Had 5 cars backed in none were blocked ever. The only complaint is the WiFi. It is extremely week. So I just disconnected for the week. House was so wonderful we booked it for a week In April!

We did enjoy our stay at the cabin, it's quite large and isolated which is exactly what we were looking for. However, there were issues with understanding how to use some of the appliances and showers. I think a form left on the countertop explaining some of these things would have been very helpful. We never did figure out how to use the television in the living room, but there are enough TVs around the house that were easily accessible it was not a concern. My only complaint would be that the deck and furniture had not been cleaned and were in our opinion unusable during our stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely use Carolina cabin rentals again!

We had a wonderful stay with 4 other couples- high points included the outdoor grill and great Porch even though some cushions were missing. Serene setting away from the world. Premium grill but a tad complex to operate. Comfortable beds, Plenty of parking and downstairs hangout space. appliances could be updated even though they are Viking from circa 2005. The following comments are more for benefit of maintenance needing attention- Ice maker not working; Half bath toilet lever and flush valve unreliable ; WiFi not reliable - at least 5 resets daily; MBR bath lacks towel racks; Outdoor fridge not working and stanky; No clean large skillet Lower level fridge not working; 1 Kitchen drawer won't shut which ordinarily not a big deal but was in front of cooktop; WiFi not reliable - at least 5 resets daily. Despite the maintenance items, we would return in hopes the above maintenance is expected performed as most result from wear and use.

Disappointing!!!

Honestly, we travel constantly, and I have never had to work with such a terrible rental company. They just didn't care. There were several things broken(fireplace, stove, ice-makers, dryer, etc)and not working at the house. They were non-responsive and not helpful. It was so disappointing because this house is expensive. The house, itself, is beautiful. The view is gorgeous. However, Carolina Cabins does not care about their renters. The house itself, for the size of it, was not stocked well. One non stick frying pan for that size of house? The wet bars were not stocked with glasses. One towel per guest and no extra's. It was very disappointing! I would NOT recommend this house, but more so I would NOT recommend this company.

This is a great house and a perfect spot for large family gatherings. We had a wonderful time celebrating my youngest grandson's birthday and watching him play football for APP State. There are a few things that would make this home a perfect home, instead of a 3 star rating. The refrigerator drawers were broken and falling apart There were no directions for the TV in the main room and we could not get it to work - the other TV's worked fine. The kitchen was poorly equipped, especially since this is a large home that encourages entertaining. Not enough pans or serving dishes/plates/baking pans/cookie sheets. The hand mixer would only accept one beater, so was somewhat ineffective when I was making the birthday cake. The sheets/pillow case in one of the downstairs bedrooms were dirty-stained and obviously used before we arrived and not changed. The closets - or lack of - is a real mystery. It seemed like the house did not get finished and that was one of the last things. No where to hang a coat or anything! Very difficult without hangers in the house or rods to hang any clothes on.

This was a wonderful place to stay and Carolina Cabins was great to work with. Our only problem was internet connection, as several family members needed to “work”, and could not do so efficiently. Other than that, it was a dream home!! Very clean and well equipped for everything we could possibly want!

Luxury Home that has drifted into disrepair

Adirondack is a once beautiful home in a spectacular setting. Unfortunately it gives the impression of a home that was bought out of foreclosure and not maintained. The front entrance is impressive except for the broken tiles. Entering the house, it gives a good impression until you notice the stains on the rugs. The once beautiful wood floors are deeply gouged, particularly in the lower level. The crisper drawers in the refrigerator are broken & hanging loose on one side. We found the pots & pans to be inadequate for a house of this price range; I left a note with three particular pans where the amount of damage is such that they need to be replaced. The stove, microwave, dishwasher & oven all worked well. The grilling area on the deck is nice and the grill worked well. I have rented a number of higher end homes and been very pleased. Adirondack was a disappointment and could use some TLC.

159 Adironack Review - Fontana

Faulty alarm system ruined first nights stay as alarm stated fire, carbon monoxide, intruder, offender, for hours. Nobody to contact for help at 11:45pm thru the morning. Had to prop pillows against alarms to TRY and limit alarm sirens. Problem occurred again on Tuesday when service men were sent the house to investigate faulty alarm. Unit was fixed after three visits by service man on Wednesday. The BBQ unit has a faulty igniter hardware per service man. Had to light BBQ manually with fireballs occurring. Service man also said was this was dangerous. They left a extension lighter but did not work after they left. Upon arrival, we saw at least a dozen cigarette butts at front entrance and thrown over railing at BBQ station below... The carpet runner in living room is stained BAD and should be removed The BBQ deck area was not swept and cleaned. After we cleaned the outside decks the decks remained clean for the remained of the week. Basically this property needs better maintenance. Fix the stone work at front entrance! Waiting for financial credit/compensation for the first days alarm ordeal per Carolina cabin employee's conversation. Spoke to Phyllis, Chasie, Mike.... Not sure if I would come back???? Thank you!

Adirondack Vacation

Unfortunately we were very dissapointed in our house including cleanliness, kitchen amenities and value received. The house was not clean, there was dog hair around most of the house, dust and cobwebs everywhere and just a general overall substandard house in regards to cleanliness. The kitchen pots and pans were not even safe, the Teflon coating on 90% of the pans was coming off the pan, the utensils were substandard, there were a total of three wine classes and very few other classes and cups in the kitchen. This unit was not stocked for 14 people. The ice maker would not work in the refrigerator (a man came and took a picture of it - so what ???). There was only one outlet that worked on the kitchen countertop. Many of the units outside areas were not good. The grill did not work sufficiently, we had to light it with a match, it would not heat properly to cook. The grill was so filled with dried grease we had to scrape some away in order to light the grill. The outside refrigerator was broken as well. The lounge chairs on the deck did not have a full complement of cushions, the ones that were there were dirty, stained or had cigarette burns in them. It would have been nice to be notified that we were responsible for taking trash to the landfill ahead of time (by the way). These are all non-issues if you are paying for a low rent property. However when you are paying $5,000 for a weeks stay you have higher expectations. Unfortunately our expectations sadly were not met. We all felt that your pictures and reviews of this property were misleading at best. We love the mountains, it will be hard to work with Carolina Cabins again in the future I am afraid. 5 day stay in July

Great subdivision. Great Location. Great House. The House and the driveway could use a bit of TLC as it is aging and in need of floor tile, hardwood, carpet wear and tear repair as well as driveway weed removal. The ceiling in the master shower shows some mositure changes and the couches in the basemaent are very uncomfortable and out of place for this house. There is no mircowave oven and the convection oven that looks like a microwave oven does not work. The cookware is limited (ie no kettle to boil water... possibly taken by prior guests). The garage is full of junk and gives the impression of indifference which would in turn transfer to the guests not caring for the property or thinking its OK to make a mess. I Would not recommend renting it to a group of high schoolers or even college students.

Almost Wonderful

The house is beautiful. It was larger than we needed, but the kids loved it. The pool table was a hit. I was amazed that a house designed for 12-14 people had such a poorly outfitted kitchen. We had heavy rain for part of the time we were there, so we grocery shopped and decided to stay home and cook. The kitchen provided 3 bowls. Crazy!! There was not a single decent knife to slice a tomato or a bagel. The frying pans were far from clean. The kitchen island was covered in a thin layer of dust. We could never get the microwave to pop popcorn (a rainy day essential) . We rent our beach house and one of the most popular responses we get is how wonderful it is to find every necessity for cooking for lots of people. That alone gets us repeat renters. This kitchen needs repairs to cabinets, and drawers won't stay closed, creating a tripping hazard. Some simple repairs and improvements in the kitchen would make this house nearly ideal. The location is perfect, the beds are comfortable and the views are great. It would be well worth the time and money to make a few minor adjustments. While you're at it, please add some towel hooks in the master bath. We will come again because there is more positive than negative to recommend this house.

Beautiful Stay with Beautiful Reviews

This cabin was absolutely luxurious - Staff was extremely friendly and helpful from booking to day of arrival. Our family made good time in travel and the staff was very accommodating to our request for an early check-in. I was able to call and confirm the cabin was ready and the nice man on the phone was able to simply update the lock box access code time to an earlier time! We didn't have to sit around waiting until 4PM, which was fantastic service! The details in the decor was lovely - I especially loved the wood cabinetry with the bark. The only reason why I gave the cabin 4 stars, instead of 5 is similar to another reviewers comments. Although the cabin was beautiful, it seemed like the cabin never completely finished, which I found a bit odd. There were empty closets rooms with no shelves to hang up clothes. An unfinished room on the bottom floor with only floor to ceiling cement walls. The King Bedroom on the bottom floor was lovely, but besides the king bed and 2 small nightstands, half the room was empty space! Not complaining to have plenty of room, but it seemed to be missing furniture of some sort. A dresser and hutch or chaise or something to make it feel complete. The same wood cabinetry was also still in palettes in the garage. Would have been a nice option to have been able to at least park one car in the garage. Also, we noticed small things here and there that weren't quite stable. Example - Queen Room on the bottom floor.... The bedpost fell off when attempting to hang a coat there? The door leading to the deck on the bottom floor didn't have a good lock to it, requiring us to have to nudge the door a bit to make sure it was actually locked - Didn't seem like the latch was actually holding. The remote to the TV didn't work unless we stood exactly to the left of the coffee table and point at an angle to change channels or volume. Again, these small things were definitely trivial and would not deter me from booking a second time, however a bit of work needs to be put into the cabin in the meantime.

Gorgeous & Private

Absolutely wonderful! It claims there were only 4 bedrooms (sleeps 14) but there were 11 beds ranging from twin to King (not including 2 trundle beds), so that was a little surprising. The driveway can be very tight for 5 cars. The gas fireplaces were definitely the best part. Just clicked them on and they heated things beautifully. The shower in the master bedroom was to die for. We hosted a family gathering there with several only coming in for a day trip and the space was perfect. The only complaint that I really had was a lack of full length mirrors throughout the entire home. Would definitely host another family trip here!

Hello, we loved the house. It was in a great location and plenty of space. There were a few drawbacks such as it did not feel that the house was stocked for 14 people. For example, there was only about 4 spoons and 5-6 wine glasses. The other item was that the shower on the 3rd floor has a temp issue. It kept on getting cold and warm with no consistency.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin, the location was great and easy to get into town. However there were several issues that need to be fixed at the home. The entire house needs a good cleaning, I had to wipe up water off of the floor and it was so nasty!!! And none of the furniture had been dusted in a while! MBR - no remote for the tv Back door by the kitchen would not lock Upstairs bathroom the water would go from hot to cold then back to hot Lower level bathroom no water in the shower The lighting in the house especially downstairs needs to be updated with led lights or better light bulbs it was very dark Kitchen cabinets some would not stay closed Dining room lighting was very dark, it was hard to see while eating Home could use a mud room or drying racks in the garage or laundry room for wet clothes These are just a few things that I think would make this home excellent, I'm sure if we do this again we will return to stay in the home.

2 out of the 4 bathrooms

2 out of the 4 bathrooms were not able to be used . No hot water in 2 bathrooms! The wireless internet is very bad . We would reboot the internet 5 to 6 times a day! For the price we paid I feel the house could be updated in some areas. Otherwise it's a beautiful home with plenty of room and beds.

We enjoyed our stay but

We enjoyed our stay but there were a couple of suggestions I had that would have made the visit better. The available pots did not have lids to fit. The dining room table did not offer placemats or table clothes for dining. I would like to have known that before I went. That is a nice table and I did not like putting wet and hot items directly on the wood. I used paper towels for placemats and that was not very attractive. The blinds in the master on the main level were half drawn and broken leaving a lot of light to come in in the mornings. There were a lot of light bulbs that were burnt out and needed to be replaced. The rug in the main living area had a lot of dirty spots on it and needs to be cleaned. There were also a lot of cracks in the tile in several bathrooms. Overall we enjoyed our visit and would hope to book again.
