This warm, modern, and spacious home offers comfort year-round, with a cozy log burner for colder months and bright sunshine streaming in on sunny days. Located in a peaceful village, it’s a perfect retreat. A riverside pub is just a 10-minute walk away, along with a playground and scenic dog walks. Explore nearby Ickford, double bridges, and charming pubs. The village boasts an ancient church and wildlife-friendly surroundings for a tranquil getaway.
This house is warm, comfortable and spacious. It is modern with all convenient appliances. It is warm in the colder months, especially when the log burner is alight. On sunny days the sunshine streams into the rear of the property making it light and bright. It is spacious with plenty of room to sit comfortably in the living room and around the dining table. It is situated in a small peaceful village making it a perfect retreat and 'get-away-from-it-all'.
We have a friendly local pub with an idyllic riverside location within a ten minute walk. We have a children's playground within a field which is also good for a short dog walk. There are other longer dog walks from the house including to the next village of Ickford with its delightful double bridges and a pub.
The narrow bridges on the way into Shabbington add to the village feel and the River Thame enhances the habitat for our wildlife friendly village.
We also have a beautiful, ancient church, St Mary Magdalene, which holds informal Sunday services and a coffee morning every Wednesday.
Guests have exclusive use of the property to themselves.
