Our villa takes its name from the iconic Takamaka trees native to Seychelles and “Tamanu” is a synonym for Takamaka in Southeast Asia. Fittingly, the villa is also located near Anse Takamaka of Baie St Anne on Praslin island, making its name a perfect tribute to its beautiful surroundings.

Our villa is nestled near the stunning Anse Takamaka in Baie St Anne, a serene spot perfect for a peaceful retreat in Seychelles. Located just a 7-minute drive from the Praslin Harbour and 6 minutes from the popular Côte d’Or beach, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds—quiet seclusion with easy access to vibrant beaches, restaurants, and local attractions. Anse Takamaka’s natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere make it an ideal base for exploring Praslin Island.

On the first floor you will find a fully equipped and spacious open-plan kitchen which flows seamlessly into a cozy living room with a TV, opening onto a stunning al fresco dining area overlooking the ocean.

The villa boasts a luxurious master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a charming double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and an additional full bathroom and a separate toilet.

One of the villa’s highlights is the mezzanine room, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking sea views from the comfort of our lounge bed filled with cushions.

Outside on the ground floor, unwind in a spacious lounge area, fire up the BBQ, or take a refreshing dip in the small pool surrounded by a lush tropical forest. With a convenient car park and ample space for families and friends, this villa offers a seamless blend of home comforts and authentic island charm, making it an ideal retreat on Praslin.

You have free parking at the property and all guests have access to the entire house, all property is only for you.

While you may have the house to yourself, you won’t be alone as the manager is at Villa Tamanu grounds from Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm.

There is a self-check-in option to make sure you can schedule your time according to your own plans.

All important details will also be shared with you before your arrival to make sure you have a smooth check-in.

And when it comes to planning your trip, we are more than happy to help you with local activities and recommendations.

And you don’t have to worry; we know that accidents occur from time to time, resulting in damage (we would not charge for one-off crockery breakages, for example). We kindly ask if anything does get broken to let us know before check out. We are very understanding while also responsible for keeping the property in good repair for all our guests.
