Great location. Bad luck with the weather. Couldn’t figure out how to lock the door with the key pad, and instructions for the tvs would have been helpful.

Beautiful Vacation Spot

Such a beautiful, comfortable place to take a vacation! The kitchen had everything we needed. Appliances are new and nice. There are an abundance of hooks throughout the condo— so helpful with all the swimming and showering. Can’t beat the view and the porch swing!

Location and comfort!

No elevators, no street to cross, beach front, views that were priceless, super clean, and owner was more then accommodating. Got on my Walmart app prior to arrival and had everything delivered to the front door so we could sit back and relax for the week. Will be staying here again!

Best stay in GS yet!! Location 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had the best stay at this property. The location is amazing. We had our three kids ages 5 and under with us so it was important for us to be directly on the beach and not in a high rise condo. This property was absolutely perfect for a family. You can walk down your steps and right onto the sand. It was also very clean and updated appliances. We would love to stay here again if we come back to gulf shores again. Not to mention this condo has everything you need to go on the beach and play. Would rate it 100 🌟 if I could. I did have to contact the host one time (just for the door lock) and she answered immediately. Thank you Joan for an amazing vacation!

Great Beachfront Condo!

Lovely little condo on the beach for a week! We went with our 15 month old so it was super helpful to be right on the beach to spend time outside during naps and early bed time! Dolphins were playing in the ocean most mornings and the Blue Angels flew over two days. There is a pool with a slide right on the side of the master bedroom but the noise never woke our baby and she's a pretty light sleeper. Master bedroom can hear it all pretty clearly, but they do close the pool at 10pm. We would absolutely go back to Lani Kai 128 for another Gulf trip! Walking distance to a ton of the things to do!

Best January Ever

First time in Gulf Shores and Lani Kai 128 was perfect. Great location, right on the beach, and plenty of walking destinations. Condo was very well equipped and Joan (owner) was great to work with. We stayed a month and cooked many times - kitchen had everything we needed, even a large air fryer and Foreman grill, new pots and pans, knives, etc. All appliances (range, fridge, washer/dryer) were brand new - think we were first time users for all. Very nice. January weather was naturally cool but comfortable enough for 2-3 miles of beach walks most days with sweaters or a light jacket. We even got a few outside lunches in on local restaurant decks. Morning and afternoon sun is right on the porch swing so it got a lot of use, to the envy of many beach passers-by. Thanks for a wonderful January and we’ll definitely keep this place in mind for future stays.

What a view!

My family and I just got back from our trip last week and overall we had a wonderful time. The location is amazing. Within walking distance to some of our favorites like Bahama Bob's and the Hangout. Parking is kind of tight if you have a large vehicle but it is nice having a dedicated space under the unit. Overall, the unit was pretty clean. The cleaning staff must have been in a hurry because my wife found a used diaper under our kids bed and there were several clothing hangers hanging in the shower from previous renters. The floors were also less clean than what we had hoped for but we understand it is the busy season. Overall the unit is nice and the furniture and beds are comfortable. The main bedroom is located next to a loud waterslide as others have mentioned but the pool closes at 11pm. It didn't bother us because we were never really in bed trying to sleep before 11pm. If you're an early bird it may annoying for you. The back deck is amazing! The porch swing and table and chairs got plenty of use for the week! The view is incredible. I will say it seems that a lot of locals or renters from other properties were using the beach entrance by the unit. Overall it wasn't a problem except for the trash that we had to walk around daily that was left by these fine folks. That's the last thing you want to see on a beach. I know it's not anything specific to this unit but it was specific to this location during our stay. We would definitely consider renting this unit again for our next stay in beautiful Gulf Shores. Overall it was a great week and experience.

Overall, this was a great beachfront property for our family, especially with our toddler. Having direct access to the beach, along with the provided beach toys and supplies, was a huge plus for us.Our only complaint is that while the property was generally clean (e.g., toilets and sheets were clearly cleaned by housekeeping), it could use a deeper cleaning overall. There was visible dust on the walls and vents in several rooms, likely from the furnace system.If you’re considering this property, note that very few household supplies are included. Be prepared to purchase basic items such as toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap.Joan was very responsive to any questions we had, and despite the minor issues, we would happily stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Perfect view of beach from covered deck with swing. Very clean with everything you could need. Parking is a little tight and didn't realize the pool was across the street until we got there. But the beach access was perfect. Bed comfortable with good linens and nice towels.

Great place

Condo was nice. Loved the covered deck, sitting and watching ocean. Dish washer was broken but owner was quick to reply. Only issue was having to take trash across 4 lane road with no crosswalk to the backside of the complex across the street. I think they should have a place on the beachside nearer condo for trash.

Great Stay!

Property was exactly as shown and described. Very cute, clean, and kitchen was stocked with everything needed for food prep and dinners. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for our party of four to relax and hang out. Right on the beach, so fantastic to have such a short walk to the beach chairs! Also great deck to hang out and have lunch or dinner while watching the waves. Short walk to souvenir shop, coffee shop, and to get supplies. We really liked the designated parking, privacy, and less crowded beach as opposed to the high rise condos. The owner was quick to answer any questions we had and very nice to rent from. Would definitely stay again when in Golf Shores area.

Very clean and perfect location!!

Absolutely loved staying here for our families Fall Break. It was a perfect beach view from our porch and steps away to paradise. Definitely one of our most favorite places we have stayed at in Gulf Shores!!The location was perfect for walking to nearby restaurants and ice cream shops. The condo was very clean and had all the accommodations. I enjoyed drinking hot coffee every morning on the porch and watching the ocean.

This condo was purchased by my dad and mom back in 1998. They had many enjoyable times together here. Dad passed away back in 2004 but Mom continues to have good health and comes a few times a year with some of the family to relax and enjoy this beautiful place.

The views are amazing and the unit is just steps away from the beach. Just one flight up into a welcoming homey atmosphere. Close proximity to many stores and restaurants. We love not dealing with high rise elevators and parking decks and long hallways. Having the fully stocked kitchen and dishwasher make for easy meals without the expense or wait. The cozy atmosphere truly makes it one of our favorite places to be.
