Castle Rock is a beautifully restored 1880s ship captain’s cottage in the heart of the picturesque seaside village of Llangrannog, Ceredigion. Just moments from the village’s golden sandy beaches and with direct access to the breathtaking Ceredigion Coast Path, this charming coastal cottage is the perfect destination for romantic getaways, family seaside holidays, and relaxing breaks on the West Wales coast.

Full of character and traditional charm, Castle Rock combines elegant period features with modern comfort. Guests can enjoy beautifully furnished interiors, original panelled walls, carefully selected antiques, and a cosy log burner that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the year. Positioned above the picturesque Y Gerwn waterfall and overlooking the village garden, the cottage offers a peaceful setting where guests can unwind, enjoy morning coffee outdoors, or relax after a day exploring the coastline.

Just opposite Castle Rock, guests can visit the beautiful village garden and the striking statue of Cranogwen, celebrating one of Wales’ most inspirational poets, sailors, and cultural figures who hailed from Llangrannog.

Located within easy walking distance of the village centre, Castle Rock is perfectly placed to enjoy the best of Llangrannog. Nearby you’ll find the local pub, an award-winning pizza restaurant and a café and chip shop with stunning sea views and don’t miss the spectacular sunsets. During the summer months, visitors can enjoy beach days, coastal walks, swimming, surfing, and ice cream by the sea, while autumn and winter bring dramatic scenery and peaceful walks along the rugged Welsh coastline.
