Apartment with all the comforts in a quiet courtyard in the city center

The Velvet Apartment is a comfortable accommodation for 2 people in the historic center (with the possibility of a third spot on a sofa bed), ideal for getting around on foot and reaching the main points of interest in the city. Located within a quiet courtyard, you will have exclusive use of a newly renovated apartment with access from the ground floor, consisting of an entrance/kitchen with an induction cooktop (we don’t use gas), a bedroom with SmartTV and Netflix service included, and a spacious bathroom with a shower. Free WiFi is included. A refrigerator with freezer, induction cooktop, microwave, toaster, and coffee machine will allow you to cook if necessary. The Self Check-in service allows you to arrive at your preferred time and manage any unforeseen events without worry. The day before your arrival, you will receive the necessary instructions, and on the day itself, the access code to manage everything independently. There is no linen or towel change provided, but you can request this for a small additional fee. The tourist tax in Catania for our type of accommodation is €2.00 per person per night for the first 4 nights, to be paid directly on-site. If you are arriving by car, it is prohibited by condominium rules to enter and park in the courtyard, which is reserved for residents. You can find street parking in the blue lines, or use the nearby paid parking areas on Via Redentore or Via Romeo. We are just a few meters from Via Umberto I and its shops, from the local market that attracts people from all over the city (called "Fera 'o luni"), from the "Villa Bellini" gardens, and from the historic Via Etnea, where you’ll find the best bars, shops, and commercial activities, as well as Via Santa Filomena, known for its pubs and restaurants for Catania's nightlife.
On foot, you can also reach the Cathedral of Saint Agatha in Piazza Duomo, the "Pescheria," the traditional fish market that turns into one of the best seafood restaurant areas in the evening, Piazza Università, Piazza Stesicoro with the "Colosseo Nero," the Greek-Roman Theater, and the Vincenzo Bellini Lyrical Theater
