It has been completely renovated into a stunning holiday home, ticking all the right boxes. You can explore the stunning North York Moors or Yorkshire Dales National Parks, which are full of bike trails and fantastic, scenic walks so make sure you pack your walking boots. Visit the very popular Rievaulx Abbey or nearby towns and cities, including the fabulous Helmsley, Thirsk and Richmond. A little further afield are York, Harrogate and Leeds, which can be accessed by the train station in Northallerton or around a one-hour drive. Alternatively, if you wanted to leave the car and have a day exploring there are plenty of picturesque walks right on Elm Cottages’ doorstep along with village pubs within walking distance offering a variety of local ales and good old pub grub.
