Our apartment is located in the hearth of the historic centre of Rome, this is a strategic area with many cultural sites within walking distance such as Circus Maximus and Coliseum.
We are on the Tiber river at the third and last floor with a spectacular view . Cross the bridge, and you are in the Trastevere district where you can enjoy every Sunday the fantastic flea market.
A beautiful walk along the characteristic river Tiber bank (Lungotevere) will bring you in a few minutes to the site of "Bocca della Verità" famous movie spot where we suggest you take some photos. Here you can chose different tours: one option is to walk along the "Roman Stadium - Circus Maximus" towards the entrance of the Coliseum and the Imperial Forum; a second one is to proceed along the Tiber, a route which will easily lead to "Campo de' Fiori", passing along side the characteristic Jewish District. To catch a majestic viewpoint of the city, climb up Colle Aventino (one of the seven roman hills) which will entice you with a romantic sight of Rome from the “Giardino degli Aranci' and where you will see some of the oldest Churches of the city.

You will find every kind of shop you could possibly need within the neighboring blocks—butcher, wine, pasta, bakery, small supermarket, etc. and just a few blocks is Testaccio Market filled with all the charm and treats of Italy—-everything from shoes to vegetables, baked goods, etc. , and with internal small bars offering good 'expresso' as you relax enjoying the sun.
