A short break

A warm welcome, everywhere was spotless, so cosy. Owner was very accommodating, enclosed space for dog. Will definitely go back, has everything you need. Nice pub and tearoom close by. A lovely quiet break overlooking the reservoir.

So convenient for Bridgnorth and surrounding

We didn't get to use the cottage overly as we were there for a wedding at The Bridal Barn in Claverley, but it was the perfect spot for the eve of the wedding and the bridal party had a fabulous time. Lovely location, convenient and had all the amenities required including some complementary brownies!

Stunning Cottages

We stayed in the Cart Cottage the night before my wedding day! The cottage was beautiful, spacious and well equipped for all self catering needs. Cart cottage is set in the most beautiful surroundings, the views from the large garden were stunning and perfect for an evening meal as a family. The booking process and service throughout our stay was first class. I can’t thank the team enough!

A short break away with friends

We had a long weekend away with some friends here. We had looked at a number of places but this kind of drew us to it. What a good decision, the place was lovely, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. It allows dogs, we had one, but you would never know a dog has been in it. The outside patio has such a lovely outlook over the valley below and fields above. Perfectly peaceful with a lovely walk up to the local pub through the woods. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back next year.

Amazing!!

We stopped in the cart cottage for my wedding weekend. It was perfect!! Everything was spotless and the homemade chocolate cake kindly left for us upon arrival was amazing!! We had such a lovely time and would 100% stay again! Thank you xxx

Cart Cottage.

We stayed at Cart Cottage to celebrate a family birthday. The Cottage had everything we needed and the boys loved the football field! Beautiful cottage, outstanding location, thankyou for everything! This is the second time we have stayed at The Dinney, and certainly won’t be the last - don’t tell everyone about it though as we want to secure future bookings ! Thankyou for a wonderful stay with great hosts x

Family Christmas

We spent our family Christmas in Cart and Duck Cottage. Beautiful location and lots of space for family and dogs. The cottages were very warm and comfortable. Lots of lovely walks close by and Severn Valley Country Park well worth a visit.

We were unlucky...

We stayed for a long weekend in Cart Cottage. The cottage is well equipped, and kitchen and bathrooms were clean and modern. However on arrival we noticed the boiler was leaking in the kitchen. The plumber had to turn it off so for the weekend we had no hot water in any of the taps in the cottage, and only one (electric) shower off the hallway downstairs. This was not ideal for 6 adults and we needed a working bathroom upstairs - I wouldn't have booked a cottage without one. The owners offered use of a shower in another cottage but this would have meant going outside to reach it. While we completely understood this was unavoidable, we should have had some compensation or partial refund, but despite sending an email, I've had no contact. It's disappointing as it had a big impact on our enjoyment of the cottage, and I feel we do deserve something back from the owners of the business.

Beautiful

Hi we’ve just got back from a night away at Cart Cottage as our daughter was getting married at a venue not far away from cart cottage, it was perfect for our stay plenty of room for a makeup artist and hair dresser as well to start early in the morning, the views are amazing the grandchildren loved it, only wish the weather was better to appreciate it more, but very well equipped has everything we needed, beds were very comfortable, would definitely be staying again if we are in the area x

Lovely little cottage. Very well equipped. Kitchen able to have 3 tier cake cooked in it so great oven etc. Beds are a little soft for us but otherwise lovely stay.

Comfortable, well equipped cottage in scenic location

Cart Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is located beside a reservoir with lots of bird life and lovely countryside views. An extra bonus is that there is a large dining table which seats 10 so was perfect for our family weekend. Other members of our party stayed in the adjoining b and b and there are other cottages on site making it perfect for a group gathering. Dog friendly too and plenty of parking right outside the property. We saw a hare on the driveway as we arrived which was an extra bonus.
