This characterful and cosy chapel is located in the little village of Goodleigh. It’s surrounded by the stunning North Devon countryside, only 8 miles from Exmoor National Park with its woodland walks and pretty little villages, including Lynton and Lynmouth. Take a trip on the longest water-powered funicular railway which connects the two villages, and enjoy a stroll around the local craft shops, tea rooms and pubs. Visit the market town of Barnstaple, only 1 mile away, which offers a plethora of shops and cafes, including Butchers Row and a pannier market. Enjoy a show at the theatre with shows throughout the year. Other places of interest to visit include the pretty seaside village of Instow (9 miles) with its golden beach where you can hop on the pedestrian ferry across to the beautiful fishing village of Appledore and explore the cobbled lanes, craft shops and galleries.
Stepping inside this converted chapel, you will soon notice the stunning blend of original and contemporary features with the added luxury of underfloor heating. You will initially come through the hallway into the open plan lounge/dining room and kitchen. With its vaulted ceilings and stunning wood burner this room really oozes style. Relax on the comfy sofas, snuggle up in front of the wood burner and watch a favourite movie. Enjoy whipping up a romantic meal in the stylish kitchen and a candlelit dinner at the dining table. Walking back through the hallway is a single bedroom with a TV and a sumptuous shower room with WC. Take the stairs up to the quirky king-size bedroom, where light floods in through the unique windows.
Outside is a small, enclosed courtyard which offers comfortable seating for dining alfresco.
