Absolutely excellent location - close to Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiori. The place was clean and the host was great at communication, There were a bunch of shops nearby including basic groceries, coffee shops and restaurants.

Checking in was difficult. We finally got into the building because someone came out, but it was complicated, relied on cell service and ultimately did not work. But once we got in it was fine. The apartment was clean, and nicely done. Close to restaurants, and shopping. The restaurants beneath the windows are loud at night, but not terrible if windows are closed. Air conditioning works.

Property closely located to major sites. 30 min walk or short taxi. Restaurant right outside the front door is excellent and staff is friendly. Keep Google maps close at hand as the narrow winding alleyways can be confusing.The apartment is nicely appointed and comfortable. The bathroom arrangement is a little odd but workable

We are sorry for the negative experience regarding the bathtub. At the time of the stay, in July, we had not yet replaced the silicone on the edges, which blackens over time, with a more suitable plastic profile. I don't know if this was what it was about, but I hope that a future eventual visit will be more pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our visit. Michelle was incredibly helpful, responsive, and easy to communicate with—he made check-in smooth and gave us great tips for getting around. The location is perfect: just a short walk to the old city, the Vatican, and plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. We really enjoyed coming back to a quiet, cozy space after a day of sightseeing. Highly recommended!

Rome multi-generation vacation

We had a lovely few days in this very centrally located flat in Rome. We were within walking distance of most everything we wanted to see/do, and communication with the host was terrific. We had some initial hot water issues, and the host was incredibly helpful and communicative so that they could be resolved. Make sure to check out the host’s café and restaurant recommendations: they are excellent! Everything was very clean and well-organized.

Big apartment in a great location

We enjoyed our stay and walked to many of Rome's sightseeing spots from the apartment. The restaurant right below the apartment was pretty good too. The host was very responsive and left a lot of helpful information on Rome in the apartment for us to read. I also loved the tile in the bathroom and foyer. The check in process and even accessing the apartment keys was a little lengthier than other places we've stayed and totally electronic so if you're not tech savvy I would let the host know before you get there to see if there's an easier way. The apartment was also a little dark even when we opened all the blinds. Overall, it was a good apartment for our family of 6!

The host is very good and responds quickly. You can see that they are working hard to be good, attentive hosts. There is soap, coffee, etc. The location is excellent. A bus stop right outside made it easy to get to the Vatican and other places. It was a short walking distance to Piazza Navona which was very nice. A very nice grocery store is close by and many restaurants, too.The property itself had some challenges. One toilet was not working well most of the time we were there. Also this is listed as a three-bedroom. We were one couple and two single adults. One adult stayed basically in a closet because the third room isn't really a bedroom. This might work well for a family with children. But there was not a bedroom for another adult. There was a bed in a hallway where the bathroom is but that also didn't work well for an adult. For our group it wasn't a good fit, but we still liked the location and the host.

First, the good things. The location is very good. You can walk to just about everything but the Vatican. There are great little restaurants, some small convenience, stores and great gelato with a couple of blocks. The host was great. Now the not so good stuff. It says that the apartment is four bedroom. It is not. It is two bedrooms with two other very small areas. One area has a crib and the other has a single bed. The furniture in the small living room room is very uncomfortable and old. The fold out single beds need to be replaced. The regular beds are comfortable. There is a washer dryer not a washer and a dryer. Luckily there is a laundry service literally around the corner called White Cloud. My wife walks with a walker and I was told there is an elevator. This is accurate, but you have to go upstairs to get to the elevator and then the elevator opens in between floors where you have to go downstairs to get to your apartment. We figured it out and enjoyed Rome, but I just want everybody looking at this apartment to know what they are looking at.

What to know about this flat:1. The property manager was extremely helpful and available.2. The 4 bedrooms are in two clusters: First, a spacious primary bedroom together with a very large closet that has its own window and serves as a second bedroom. The second cluster consists of a small but perfectly adequate bedroom and a second very narrow bedroom that must be walked through to access the bathroom. 3. I guess that the spacious primary bedroom takes up somewhere between 25 and 30% of the flat. The common living room/dining room/kitchen is quite small. 4. As a result of the above, the flat is best suited to a family with children, or two couples traveling together. I believe it would feel cramped for more than 4 adults. 5. The hot water service failed on four separate occasions. Hopefully by the time you read this, the manager will have posted a reply briefly explaining how the problem has been definitively resolved. While this disrupted our stay, the manager worked to repair the problem each time we had to contact him. He also promptly agreed to a rent refund, following the fourth failure, of about 7% of the gross rent we paid (which is a much higher percentage of the rent the landlord actually receives after deducting for VRBO fees and taxes. 6. If I am assured that the hot water problem is completely resolved, then I would stay here again.
