Being 143 meters high, âSolariaâ offers unique views, encompassing Milan city centre, its cutting-edge skyscrapers and, in the background, the Alps.
The building comprises: reception open 24 hours a day, bicycle parking, car drop-off, welcome area for guests and stroller parking. The guestsâ security is guaranteed by a modern CCTV-camera system.
âSolariaâ is located in the futuristic district of Porta Nuova, the beating heart of the new Milan, between Piazza CittĂ di Lombardia -home to the cutting-edge building of the Lombardy regional government- and Porta Garibaldi railway station.
All around, you find some of the most important buildings of the urban renewal project: the Unicredit Tower -the tallest Italian skyscraper- Piazza Gae Aulenti, located 6 meters above the street level and stage of key events of Milan fashion and culture, and the Diamond Tower.
The area was also chosen by Google as its Italian headquarters (at the Zigghurat or Pyramid building, designed by the architect William McDonough).
The area is very well served by public transports: in less than 5 minutes you reach both subway stops "Repubblica" (yellow line) and "Garibaldi" (green and purple line), the âpassanteâ railway (blue line) and tramways 29 and 30.

It is fitted with double glazed windows, air conditioning and electric blackout curtains in all rooms.
The apartment opens onto an elegant hallway leading into the sitting room, which offers a French size sofa bed (140 cm), a dining table for up to 4 people and a TV set. The day area enjoys breathtaking views of the brand-new skyscrapers of Porta Nuova and the amazing buildings of Milan city centre.
The modern kitchen, fully fitted with all amenities and also comprising a microwave and a dishwasher, overlooks the day area through two glass sliding doors.
The night area offers a double bedroom with a spacious three-door closet, and a huge bathroom, covered in black-and-white marble and equipped with two basins, tub and crystal shower stall.
The apartment has parquet flooring; marble is used in the bathroom.
AC system is centralized and works in the periods in which it is activated by the condominium.
