Suitable for large families sleeps upto 8 ......This very large property sits central in a private secure estate close to white sandy Beaches, the Marina, and many Golf courses. Within 100 metres you have access to 3 pools each with a bar and food. There are several cafe’s bars and restaurants and a fresh food Supermarcado onsite. The Penthouse is good for families (there is a kids play area) and big groups upto 8. You will NOT need a hire car because you can walk everywhere
The space
The largest property in the area, It has a private garden and lots of balconies with great views east and west down the Algarve and the potential to sleep 10 to 12 if required
You will NOT need a car as the Marina and beaches are in walking distance, and if you have young ones there is a fun LandTrain that is on continous circuit. Maps and routes of LandTrain are in the foto album attached

All the property bar some storage space in the cellar
Other things to note
The Old Village is open for business from the beginning of June 2020, all pools, Bars, Shops and Bistros are open, and the Marina is getting back to its best
If you are just a couple please look elsewhere during the high season as it is demand by family groups (May June July August)
You will NOT need a car as the Marina and beaches are in walking distance, and if you have young ones there is a fun LandTrain that is on continous circuit. Maps and routes of LandTrain are in the foto album attached

OPENING OF THE OLD VILLAGE AND FACILITIES
The Portuguese government have declared the end of the lockdown period since 3rd May 2020.
Some selected businesses such as shopping malls, gyms and bars etc. are expected to return to normal during the month of June. In the interim the use of a face mask is mandatory at all times when entering shops. Restaurants are allowed to recommence their business from 18th May 2020. There will be some restrictions on the social distancing situation and a reduction in the number of clients permitted by 50%.
Luckily, the Algarve (around 370 cases out of a total population of 450.000 people) as well as the Loulé Council (64 cases out of total population of 60.000 people) have not been severely affected with the Covid 19 pandemic. As you can see from the above figures, only a very small percentage of the local population have suffered with the virus infection.
A meeting between the Condominium and the Commercial Enterprises in the OLD VILLAGE took place on 20th May and the re-opening of all the Village facilities will take effect from 06th June.
In relation to the Old Village swimming pools and other common facilities, as these are classified as communal gatherings, we are in the process of preparing an Internal Health & Safety Protocol to comply with the guidelines from the Portuguese National Health System and Tourism Board as to new safety practices to be employed for staff and customers, respectively. These rules will be clearly marked for pool users
The Old Village, Vilamoura is the amongst the leading private secure estates on the Algarve coast boasting some of the most splendid landscaped gardens in Portugal, along with white sandy beaches, Tennis, Golf, Sea going boats, terrific Bars and Restaurants and a splendid Marina in walking distance. Three Swimming pools especially for kids in mind are all onsite. There are Coffee shops, bars, a Supermarket, and four Restaurants all within the estate
The Owners Association runs the estate with security at the top of the agenda, so security guards patrol both day and night, and access to the swimming pools is by security card (provided to each owner only)
FACILITIES WITHIN THE PROPERTY
The property comes with Sky TV, DVD player, Cooker, Dishwasher, Washing Machine/Dryer, Microwave, outside BBQ (gas loaded) and free WIFI
The Old Village is within walking distance of all other amenities, including: Tennis, Golf, Casino, Cinema, Church, Medical Centre, Banks, Chemist, Post Office, Restaurants, Bars, Night Clubs and Discotheques, Casino, Supermarkets, Fresh Fish Market and Fresh Fruit/Veg Market, Millionaires Marina and High Fashion Shops.
Also within walking distance is the magnificent EEC blue flag Falesia beach.
The marina is a 10 minute walk (or approx. 5 euro taxi) from the Old Village Vilamoura and is the main centre of activity day and especially night
There is a huge range of restaurants, bars and shops (including many designer shops). Its s just fun to watch the great and the good of fashionable Europe dressed up to attract attention strolling around the many bars and bistros on the Marina
Boasting a 1,000-berth marina, Vilamoura attracts the wealthy, yachtsmen, footballers, golfers, celebrities and in fact, anyone who just fancies enjoying a fun place in the sun!
Vilamoura has something for everyone to enjoy - there are boat trips, fishing trips, water skiing and Jet Ski for hire, also specially designed trails for walking and cycling. (There is a similar Municipal bike hire facility found in major European cities)
Airport - Visitors can be met at the airport by the Old Village maintained 8 seat Mercedes Minibus, approx 40 euros each way and you can prebook direct and all they will need is your flight number/time (even have house keys for late arrivals)
Getting around - Every hour there is a Land Train to the Beach and Marina and back
No 11 Church Square is dead centre of Old Village, and the largest property
Key pick up at OV-International Church Square (within 5 meters)
Monday till Saturday, from 9:30 till 18:00 - Sunday from 9:30 till 13.30.
