There is superb walking on the South West Coast Path and the North Devon beaches are varied and interesting. Visit the National Trust's Watersmeet Gorge, Valley of the Rocks and the funicular cliff railway. Up on Exmoor, there are various walks to suit all abilities, as well as highlights such as Tarr Steps, Landacre Bridge and the village of Withypool.
