The seaside town Cambrils (Costa Daurada) is home to the luxurious house Masia Montbello, which is situated 5 km. from the more hectic tourist life, but which you can seek when going to the beach or out to dine at one of the coast's many excellent restaurants. You can then pull back to your own paradise surrounded by tranquility and beauty. The nearest village is a few kilometers away and here you can also go to a restaurant or do some grocery shopping.

Masia Montbello is located on a 23,000 m2 terrain with 500 olive and fruit trees and the owners produce their own excellent olive oil. From the 1.500m2 garden you have a unique view of many beautiful trees and the whole terrain is framed beautifully into the mountains that rise in the background.

The swimming pool is 78m2 (6x13m) and 1.80m at the deepest. In june and september the pool will heated. There are comfortable sun loungers, chairs and umbrellas in the garden, which also offers many small intimate seating areas. When traveling in a large group, it is excellent to have the ability to search a little a quiet moment once in a while. Here Masia Montbello, with the very large indoor and outdoor areas, are an extremely excellent choice of a holiday home. Thus, the house is ideal for a group of several generations and the children will love the huge outdoor area, with plenty of room to play.

The owners have used in lots of time and effort to create a house with a unique atmosphere and environment - and it is fully managed. The entire home has combined heating / cooling (controlled by sustainable energy), so the home constantly keeps a comfortable temperature. In the 600m2 large house there are seven very bright and luxurious rooms and the house can accommodate 14 guests, and it possible to have up to 3 extra beds for children for free. All rooms offer views of either the Mediterranean Sea or mountain views and are equipped with air condition, satellite TV, floor-cooling system, Wi-Fi, Nespresso coffee machine and a private bathroom. On the top floor there is also a family apartment for four people, which has its own kitchen and the children’s room has a PlayStation 3. The two rooms in the family apartment shares a very large and nice bathroom. The furnishings in each room are a fine blend of vintage and modern furniture, creating an extremely tasteful environment.

On the ground floor is a large and beautiful kitchen that is equipped with all modern facilities. From the kitchen you can draw one side of the large windows to the side, opening the door to the enclosed courtyard and thus create something similar to an outdoor kitchen. Should you choose to seek shade and dine inside then the house dining tables can be composed as it suits the group. In the large common room is also a very tasteful lounge area.

In Masia Montbello there is also a small gym, a library with a wide selection of coffee table books and there is also Wi-Fi, washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. Cars and bicycles can be parked safely on the ground. Furthermore children's beds that can be set up on request.

Lisbeth and I (Bertel) are the owners of the company SYDENS FERIEHUSE. For the last 14 years we have engaged in letting out fantastic Catalan holiday homes, all of which live up to our criterias: they are authentic, charming homes and are all of a very high standard. Things to do in Masia Montbello

The area offers a wealth of activities such as Port Aventure (one of Europe's best theme parks), water sports, cycling and much more. The owner offers to book and print tickets Portaventura, Aqouolis and all other theme parks - some times with special discounted prices. There are good opportunities to play golf in the area. The owner offer printing services (boarding passes etc) and have attractive offers for the golf bonmont golf course (20% discount on greenfees) and 6 golfcourses in a radius of 30kms.
In the house is also soccerlane, table football, table tennis and trampoline as well as Wi-FI and PlayStation 3.

Ecological response sustainable energy

Masia Montbello has its own biological treatment plant which produces water for irrigation of olive trees. In the near future all electricity will be supplied from solar and wind energy. It is the owners' ambition to offer the guests a fully CO2 neutral house.

The house has AN EXTENDED LEVEL OF SERVICE as a person will be present for maintance of the garden area and in the office of the house (seperate from the rental) 2-3 hours a day, avaible for questions and advice regarding restaurants, excursions, markets etc. in the area. Besides the cleaning by departure, cleaning twice a week is included in the price, and extra cleaning is also offered against a small fee. From September - June, the owners will live in their apartment at the property, and it is possible to rent rooms with breakfast.

Also, additional services are available on demand, such as breakfast delivery, help to order for instance a paella- or barbecue evening.
