The space
Tucked away on the beautiful Orchardleigh Estate and overlooking its picturesque lake, this Palladian-style boathouse is a secluded escape for couples. Spend your evenings relaxing in the hot tub as the sun sets over the lake after a day exploring the 500-acre estate. This luxurious hideaway for two offers complete seclusion in a stunning setting. Inside, you’ll find a cosy studio, with a fully-equipped kitchen and separate bathroom.
Outside, a private terrace overlooks the lake with garden furniture for alfresco dining, with a hot tub perfectly positioned to enjoy the view. Relax here or take a stroll around the stunning grounds.
Orchardleigh Golf and Country club offer a full menu and bar list and is only a short stroll. Golf can also be booked directly as well.
Guest access
The guests will have access to the entire Boathouse and private Hot Tub

Orchardleigh Estate provides endless activities, including countryside walks, an 18 hole golf course and fishing (by prior arrangement), to name but a few. Orchardleigh Golf and Country Club is within walking distance also offers a full bar and menu along with a children's adventure playground.

Golf can be booked via the website, from £16 for 18 holes, we also hire Golf Clubs and offer lessons.

There are tranquil walks on the Estate around our 35 acres of lakes and 12th Century Island Church. We do have livestock so please do keep your dogs on a lead.
Golf buggies can also be booked via the Golf Club.

Wookey Hole Caves and Adventure is a great day out for the family and 30 mins from Orchardleigh Estate
