Welcome to Mas Maria Carmen Dalmau in Ravos del Terri.
This is a traditional Catalan country house redecorated and furnished with comfortable beds. Built in 1786, this authentic masia offers a unique and charming experience. Located in a popular cycling environment, our house is well connected to Girona and Banyoles while still giving you the impression of being in the middle of the countryside.
Perfect for families or groups of friends, our house allows you to share a space together while enjoying your own private rooms and bathrooms. With 5 rooms, 2 of which are on the same level as the kitchen, dining room, living room, garden, pool, and balcony, you won't have to worry about climbing stairs.
All beds in our house are individual, new, and equipped with comfortable mattresses. This makes it ideal for groups of cyclists who prefer not to share a bed but don't mind sharing a room. And if you're a cycling enthusiast, you'll love that we are very close to the world-famous cycling routes around Girona city.
This house is professionally managed by Els Majordoms and has been specifically redesigned for holiday rentals. You can expect a well-equipped, well-maintained, and professionally cleaned accommodation, along with top-notch service from our reception team who can communicate in English.
Let us take you on a tour of the layout of the house and garden. As you enter the premises through a large gate, you'll drive up to the house where there is ample parking space for 3-4 cars. From the house, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the countryside and the medieval village of Ravos del Terri, complete with its medieval castle.
The first thing you'll notice is our spacious outdoor covered dining table, perfect for enjoying meals in the open air all year round. The terrace faces south, so you can also soak up the warm winter sun. Behind the house, you'll find our large, newly installed saltwater swimming pool, surrounded by plenty of lounge chairs for larger groups.
As you enter the house, you'll step into a large hallway that serves as the center of the house, connecting all the other spaces. This versatile area can be used for exercises or to store cycling equipment if needed. To the right, you'll find the spacious dining room and living room, which opens up to the south-facing balcony. The dining room features a large table that can comfortably accommodate 12 people. There is also a seating area, TV, and air conditioning in this space.
On the left side of the hallway, you'll find the fully-equipped kitchen, with everything you need for a long stay with 12 people. It boasts a large fridge, freezer, and plenty of storage space for groceries. The kitchen also features a large fireplace and a dining table.
At the far end of the hallway, on the left, you'll find the master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. This bedroom offers doors that open to the balcony, allowing you to enjoy stunning views of the castle. On the other side of the hallway, you'll enter the second double bedroom, also with access to the balcony. Next to this bedroom, there is a second full bathroom that can be accessed from the dining area as well.
The balcony wraps around the south and east-facing part of the house, providing great views. It is covered and adorned with beautiful arches, creating a perfect spot for a relaxing evening.
Climbing the stairs to the top floor, you'll find an open space with a billiard table, along with two additional double rooms, each furnished with single beds and new mattresses. Every room is equipped with a fan to ensure proper ventilation and cooling.
Additionally, accessible from the garden, there is a separate four-person bedroom featuring a new full bathroom, a double bed, a bunk bed, and a ceiling fan. This self-contained unit has its own private entrance and can only be accessed from outside the house.
Our house boasts an enormous fenced garden, offering plenty of space to relax and play outdoor games like soccer.
The house was newly furnished in 2023, ensuring a comfortable and stylish stay.
There is an outdoor ping pong table in the garden, complete with rackets and balls for your enjoyment.
