The living room features a single sofa bed, a wide-screen smart TV to watch all your favourite shows through multiple streaming options, and a dining table for four.

The kitchen is fully equipped with essential cookware and cutlery that you'll need to cook delicious meals, such as a stove, an oven, and a microwave. The apartment also has a washer, a drying rack and ironing equipment for your laundry needs.

The bedroom has a double bed with complimentary hotel-quality linens for maximum comfort.

The bathroom contains all the necessary amenities, including clean towels and complimentary toiletries.

The house is always professionally cleaned for your comfort.

Guimarães is a historical city in the northern region of Portugal, often called the "Birthplace of Portugal" due to its significant role in the country's foundation and identity.

The historic centre of Guimarães has been a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001. Its well-preserved medieval architecture, narrow streets, and historic landmarks make it a popular destination for tourists and history enthusiasts.

One of the most iconic landmarks in Guimarães is its medieval castle, known as the Castle of Guimarães or the Castle of Afonso Henriques. It is believed to have been the birthplace of Afonso Henriques and is an essential part of the city's history.

Another notable attraction in Guimarães is the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza (Paço dos Duques de Bragança). This grand medieval palace served as the residence of the Dukes of Braganza. Today, it is a museum open to the public.

Guimarães is known for its vibrant cultural scene, with various events and festivals throughout the year. One of the most famous events is the Festas Gualterianas, a traditional festival celebrating Saint Gualter, featuring parades, concerts, and cultural activities.

The Teleférico de Guimarães, or Guimarães Cable Car, is a cable car system that provides transportation from the base of Penha hill to its summit. The cable car ride offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. It is convenient for visitors to reach the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora do Carmo da Penha at the hill's peak. Penha is renowned for its natural beauty, offering stunning panoramic views of Guimarães and the surrounding countryside. The mountain is covered with lush greenery, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. There are hiking trails that lead through the forested hillsides, providing opportunities for scenic walks and picnics amidst nature. Additionally, recreational facilities include playgrounds, picnic areas, and a mini-golf course.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.

The nearest train station, Guimarães Train Station, is just a 12-minute walk.

The nearest bus stop, São Gualter, is just a 1-minute walk.

Penha Cable Car is just a 6-minute walk from the property.

Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is a 40-minute drive from the property.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 2 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).

Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.

Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
