Felicity’s House is a stunning Victorian property overlooking the countryside in the beautiful village of Queniborough.
It has been newly and stylishly renovated with every modern comfort including the hot tub with a view! The garden has a patio and table and chairs where you can enjoy the view with a glass of wine.
Inside you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, two spacious living rooms and a beautiful bathroom ‒ the ideal base to explore the heart of England.
Felicity’s House is a detached rural retreat full of charm and character where you can relax and recharge.
It has been lovingly restored to offer a welcoming uplifting stay. When you step through the door you’ll find airy rooms and lots of space, three comfortable bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, two roomy living rooms with large TVs and a stylish bathroom. The spacious kitchen with a table seating eight overlooks the garden and there is lots of free parking space just outside the front door.
Queniborough, with pretty cottages and St Mary’s church with the famous 162-foot needle spire, is the perfect location for exploring the beautiful countryside and market towns of Leicestershire and Rutland.
Felicity’s House is ideal for holidaymakers with country walks and 15 minutes from historic Bradgate Park ‒ home to the 550 red and fallow deer who roam around the romantic ruins of Lady Jane Grey’s childhood home. You can explore the many hiking and biking trails then return to your peaceful rural retreat to enjoy the hot tub in the garden!
Beacon Hill and Swithland Wood, famous for its bluebells, are also close by. Conkers, the family-friendly forest adventure park, Ashby Castle and Belvoir Castle ‒ which stars in The Crown ‒ are a short drive.
You can visit Leicester’s National Space Centre and the King Richard III Visitor Centre next to Leicester Cathedral where the King lies following his famous discovery underneath a car park!
There are plenty shops, popular pubs and restaurants nearby, including the amazing variety of Indian cuisine!
The Hot Tub is available until 9 am on the day of check out to allow us time to get it ready for the next guests.
We have access to the local village tennis court which can be booked for free.
Please bring your own tennis rackets and balls.
The court can be booked at the Post Office - 9am to 530pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 9am to 1pm.
The key will be kept at the house but a charge of £20 will be made if lost or damaged.

Pets are welcome but please note that the garden is not fully fenced off so it would be easy for them to escape!
