Close to the church is the Glen, a traditional cottage, that has been modernised over the years, but still retains a great deal of charm and quirkiness.You are at to the centre of the village. Tranquility prevails broken only by the sound of the church clock striking, or ringing a peel on a Sunday morning, or birds singing in the garden, or bathing in the pond.
The ground floor at The Glen comprises a sun room dining area, a country kitchen with gas Aga and walk in pantry, and a character filled sitting room with feature beams and wood burning stove. Also on this floor is the spacious and stylish wet room. Open what appears to be a cupboard door, to find the stairs which may be challenging if you have a disability or are notably infirm on your feet.Onthe first floor you will find one double and two single bedrooms, one with bunk beds, the other with useful built in storage and wardrobe space. Outside offers a patio area with steps up to the forecourt with a generousparking space. These steps - see the picture may prove challenging for the elderly or infirm.
For nature enthusiasts, our village is a gateway to breathtaking landscapes. Lace up your hiking boots and embark on scenic walks across the rolling hills of Dartmoor National Park, located just a stone's throw away. Lose yourself in the natural wonders of ancient woodlands, dramatic tors, and cascading waterfalls!
