Cheap, old , uncomfortable furniture, especially masterbedroom mattres!, with terrible lighting throughout, inoperative window treatments, 1 is 2 toilets that worked very poorly, and kitchen appliances and utensils that were cheap and poorly maintainedPool and jacuzzi were out of service during our entire 44 day stay, and we were told that it was out of service for at least a month prior to our arrival and we were never notified or responded too.We would never return to this property, although its general location in Long Beach is excellent.Host both nasty and generally unresponsive to needs.

OWNERS BEWARE By far one of the most exhausting and ungrateful guests I’ve ever hosted. I personally showed up to check them in and went above and beyond throughout their stay — replacing the coffee machine, placing a new tv in the bedroom, and hand-delivering fresh towels and bathroom rugs. I responded to every message and call (and there were many), yet not once did they say thank you. Just constant demands and nitpicking. Even complained that the building closer the pool for a day and literally could walk down the hall to use the pool in the next door tower. It honestly felt like the only thing left was for me to come cook for them. Some guests are simply impossible to please, and this was one of them. Completely unappreciative, high-maintenance, and draining. I would absolutely not recommend hosting this guest.

Location location location

The upside of this property is it is in the heart of Long Beach and the location could not be better. The downside is that the property amenities are lacking (such as they had 2 forks total, blinds are missing, dishwasher not secure... just some little things). However, did I mention location? This place has easy access to the beach, many restaurants, and the highways. We would stay again. Thanks.

Frequent Traveler Giving Honest Review

I've stayed at dozens of vacation rentals and I put considerable value into the reviews people leave after their stays before I make the decision to rent a place. I didn't have any hesitation about renting this place because some people said the beds were comfortable and the place has good ratings. I don't know how those other reviewers define comfortable but we left after our first night of a scheduled 5-night stay because NONE of the furniture was comfortable. The beds were so firm that even my 17-year-old, who can sleep anywhere, complained that he didn't sleep well in the twin bed he was in. My wife and I barely slept because we were tossing and turning all night even after a terribly long day of travel delays. Please take a close look at the living room furniture. The couch cushions were so firm that I don't think they even indented when we sat on them. When we stayed there, the listing says that towels were not provided. I see now from a traveler's comment left recently that the host says it is due to her cleaner's requirements, Huh? Yeah, it's COVID time but find a way to get people towels. Before we left on our trip, I talked her into supplying towels for our stay. Well, she did but she only left us two bath towels for the three of us. She didn't answer the phone when I called to tell her we were checking out due to being so uncomfortable with the accommodations so I sent her a text message. Her response was that she was so confused because she is a Premiere Host and gets good reviews. She didn't even give the customary "I'm sorry that you feel this way" statement. It just really rubbed me the wrong way. The building location is close to everything like the listing says. It is a little bit of a hike to get to the beach so take a look at an aerial view around the building to get a good sense of that if you plan on going to the beach a lot. The building is downtown so it comes along with all of the street noise that you would expect from traffic and sirens. There is a good sized private garage with a garage door opener in the gate-controlled parking under the building and she has a luggage cart there that you can use. We didn't try any of the building amenities because we left after our first night. I'm really not trying to talk anyone out of renting this place because it might suit your needs just fine, it just didn't suit ours. Thanks for reading. P.S. I can't wait to see her response.

I am sorry you were rubbed the wrong way, I actually went above and beyond for you and your party, factoring in your travel arrangements that changed and requested an after hour check in. I had no problem coming after hours for you and your family. Towels were bought NEW AND HAND PLACED PERSONALLY. My house rules clearly state 2 requirements 1. Towels are not provided 2. ID required. So yes I do encourage guests to be informed of that before booking. In regards to NONE of the furniture being comfortable yes that did take me by shock. Im not sure what was expected of me at that point ?? Replacing all furniture and mattresses would not have been feasible. I understand that plans can change but please realize that trying to carry that loss to the property owner is not fair. I happily go above and beyond for my guests who can communicate their needs and give me an opportunity to respond and I think the countless reviews here show for it.

Thank you for your feedback Paul! As noted before booking towels are not provided due to cleaning companies covid restrictions ..... we are actively working to get this restriction lifted. Cutlery is chock-full, located inside kitchen cabinets and all beds are ready with linen and cotton comforters, I am always happy to supply guests with extra comforters just as your party was supplied with 3 extra comforters without hesitation :)

Anniversary Trip

property was breath taking the second we opened the door, the view is spectacular. The property is super clean and fully stocked with all the necessities. Our host was very informative and so sweet. The location is walking distance to almost everything. After having an amazing day exploring LB, to end the night in the balcony with the breeze and night light was everything we needed. I find myself reminiscing alot about this trip. Thank you for making it happen.

They were very helpful with any questions we had very accommodating with any of our needs. The view from the balcony was nice. Enjoyed watching the sun rise from the balcony. It was very quiet. Walking distance to anything you need or there are Passport buses you can ride. We were on a business trip and it was only a short walk to the Convention Center.

Okay stay

Positive- Owner had great communication. Her parents meet us at the condo and showed us were to park and where all the ammenities were located. The condo had a nice gym to use. We felt safe inside the condo. The bedroooms have plenty of room and the beds were comfortable. It was nice having two bathrooms (we were traveling with our teenage boys). The mall is close and had many stores and restaraunts to choose from. We were able to get delivery to our room with no issues. Not so positive- The living room furniture is nice to look at, but not comfortable. The T.V's do not have cable. We were able to log in to our Netflix account but would have liked to watch local T.V. Many of the kitchen items were dirty (had dried food on them and such). The location was not great for us. It is located downtown and comes with the issues of being located downtown .The view is nice and the beach is close, but it's not a spot that you want to swim in. The water poluntion in that area is high. We ended up driving to a different beach.

Best Seats EVER to watch Fourth of July Fireworks

Arrived on July 4 - Liz met us and made us feel welcome. Easy peasy check-in (lots of fobs and keys!) and that evening we had the best seats ever for the 4th of July fireworks over the water. Clean, safe and secure building. Really good food within walking distance - Modina's and CuppaCuppa (just across the street) and Long Beach Diner (across and over a few blocks) are a few we tried. And the beach is just a short walk away. A bit of a hassle traffic-wise to get to and from LAX/popular tourist spots, however overall we found it to be a great place to stay for a long 4 day holiday weekend visit to LA.

I agree, like all major airports, LAX is never a pleasant commute..... while I wouldnt trade anything for the Golden coast I must admit LA rush hour ( especially on a holiday) traffic is not Socal's most welcoming attribute. Neat, clean, well located and the host is very responsive.

A hassle free 5 week vacay in Long Beach for an active couple of 75 years. Right in the center of everything Long Beach and a 40 minute car ride from everything LA and, going south, Disneyland. The place is great for a family of 4, will do for 2 couples with 1 master, a BR with 2 twins, and 2 bathrooms. We ate bfast everyday in the condo, were busy most of the rest of the day so lunch and dinner were in restaurants. There are plenty within walking distance, and if you have a car and can read a map (or ride share) you can find 2nd street in Long Beach which is restaurant row. The kitchen is reasonably outfitted. Bfast is easy, you can make a light dinner. One night we did mac and cheese, another burgers, and another hot dogs on the days we were too tired to go out. The kitchen table tho is very small and a foldable bridge table would be a nice addition.. The condo building has a very nice athletic room, a small pool and hot tub, and a patio for hanging out. I must mention 108 Yoga, a short walk away. We are an older couple who maintain some flexibility with Yoga. We were put on to 108 Yoga by my daughter, and it was one of the high points of the trip. We went 2x/week. Book it if you can. All in all a great vacation. I would do it again.

A fun and central place to stay!

Pictures don't lie! All you see on the listing is correct. From the Queen Mary practically to Catalina, the views go forever. Great location, very central and easy to get any Where. Close to shop and restaurants. Ester was a great host; incredibly responsive to all needs. Met us and took us to the unit and showed us all that needed to be know to live there for a week. Parking was the best too. Thanks for everything Ester.
