Renovated with great comfort and taste, this old 19th-century Castro Laboreiro house has been restored to its former glory, inviting you to spend a few days in full contact with nature in the heart of the Peneda Gerês National Park.

Casa das Falagueiras has been harmoniously decorated to provide you with every comfort, inviting you to enjoy the lush landscape that surrounds it. It has 4 suites, two with double beds and two with 2 single beds each. The kitchen is fully equipped, inviting you to enjoy long meals, conversations and moments shared around the table, with the warmth of the fireplace and the glass wall complementing your comfort and well-being.

Falagueiras is one of the largest brandas (traditional wooden huts) in Castro Laboreiro, which is covered in white during the heavy snowfalls that occur here in winter. The plateau, which is just over 1 km away, enchants visitors with its diversity of colours in spring and the animals that can be seen roaming freely, while the waterfalls and lagoons invite you to take a refreshing dip in summer.

Castro Laboreiro is known for its rich archaeological and landscape heritage, offering a breathtaking surrounding landscape. The various trails around it are a challenge to discover the Castrejo heritage and places of rare beauty. The museum tells the story of the people, and the Roman and medieval bridges take us back to the distant past.
