Willkommen in Ihrem neuen Zuhause, wo es nicht heißt, alles aufzugeben. Kommen Sie auf den Sumpf Thunfisch und kehren Sie zurück in die Natur. Der Thunfisch im Sumpf nutzt einen konventionellen Antrieb, so dass auch Anfänger sich problemlos fortbewegen können. (ja... SIE KÖNNEN ES UMFAHREN !!) Dieser Bereich arbeitet mit wild lebenden Tieren zusammen. Erleben Sie eine ruhige, friedliche Atmosphäre im besten Süden von Louisiana. Kreieren Sie Ihr eigenes Abenteuer oder genießen Sie die Stille. Unser einzigartiges Hausboot ist solarbetrieben, was bedeutet, dass keine lauten Generatoren an Bord sind. Es bietet Platz für vier Personen (1 großes Bett, 1 großes Futon). Einige Annehmlichkeiten umfassen: ein großes Badezimmer mit einer großen Badewanne und Dusche, ein Gasinnenkochfeld mit drei Brennern und einen 5,8-Kubikzentimeter-Herd. ft. Brustkühlschrank, Esstisch für vier Personen, Deckbrenner, kleines Tisch-Hibachi auf dem Vorderdeck, zwei Kajaks und zwei Deckrocker, um nur einige zu nennen. KRAFTSTOFF ENTHALTEN!

Perfect camp boat for 2 adults! Got to cruise all over the lake! It’s a must to get the dingy also to be able to explore into the cypress trees! Saw lots of wildlife. Loved seeing the bald eagles!

Clark and Lyndsie as always do an excellent job. This was our second time on the boat and we will be back for a third as long as Clark keeps offering this special opportunity. The layout of the boat is incredibly wellthought out and essentially it is a well appointed mobile cabin that can submerge you deep in nature in total comfort. We are a family of 4 with an 8 and 10 year old and this is their favorite vacation. Easy fishing, abundant wildlife, the opportunity to explore miles of untouched swamp. Truly a unique experience.

Best vacation ever

Spent four days on the houseboat in the swamp. My kids loved every minute and said it was the best vacation they had ever been on. Boat was well provisioned and the hosts were very attentive. Highly recommended and we hope to come back in the future.

Sneaux in the Bayou

What an amazing experience. The time we picked for our adventure was unusual from a weather standpoint, but we kept snug and warm in the houseboat and still saw many amazing sights. Clark was an amazing host and so easy to work with, and gave great instructions for operating the houseboat. We had such a great time.

Spectacular Adventure!

I cannot express my stay in any other words than just… WOW! It was everything I was looking for! I planned a surprise trip for my husband and I for our anniversary! He’s an avid outdoorsman! He was so shocked and surprised when we got to the dock! We experienced so much during our stay! From the wildlife to the scenery to even the weather, it was so beautiful and peaceful!! Best way to experience Louisiana!

While traveling through in our RV, we wanted a way to really explore the bayous of Louisiana. We couldn’t have asked for a better way than staying on the Swamp Tuna! What an experience! Everything about it was so cool, from getting to drive the boat around to kayaking with the gators, we had the most relaxing 3 nights aboard the boat. To top it all off, this was the most well stocked place we have ever rented. What an awesome host and an awesome boat!

Best way to see this beautiful area!!!

Our time on the swamp tuna far exceeded our expectations, which were pretty high already! It was an unbelievable way to see the swamps, and Clark’s explanations of the history of the swamp and the local area made it even more fascinating! We saw countless bald eagles and herons as well as many alligators, turtles and other wildlife. It was such a great way to leave behind the stress of the daily life behind and completely relax! We Highly recommend it!!

Having spent our entire lives in what we consider to be the most beautiful place on earth, we were determined to create a new way to enjoy it. I've owned many houseboats through the years. Although they were useful they were somewhat inconvenient. The generator always had to be maintained and constantly refueled (and was noisy). Traditionally, they're stationary and not designed for exploration. This is why we are SO excited to introduce The Swamp Tuna. We also custom build for sale.
