Two bedroom/two bathroom cottage with saltwater plunge pool and forest views

Watch the sun and moon rise from your veranda, relax in the hammock strung between orange trees or take a dip in your own private saltwater plunge pool (5m x 3m x 1.2m).

For breakfast or lunch you can buy fresh artisan bread, delivered daily, and pick and juice oranges straight from the garden (seasonally dependent).

Lua da Floresta (Forest Moon) is a bright and airy cottage with uninterrupted forest views. It has two ensuite bedrooms with rainfall showers, and a fully equipped open plan kitchen/living area.

We are located in the village of Graça, Pedrógão Grande. In the village there are trree cafe bars which serve meals and snacks throughout the day, as well as a mini supermarket. The nearest town with a supermarket and more amenities is a 10 minute drive.

With beautiful views and walking or bike trails, numerous river beaches offering water sports and boat trips, and the historic schist villages, Central Portugal is the perfect place to get away from it all.

To get your culture fix, the university city of Coimbra is only a 40 minute drive. Its historic centre dates to Moorish times and is wonderfully atmospheric, with its dark cobbled lanes and monumental cathedral. On summer evenings, the city’s old stone walls reverberate with the haunting metallic notes of the guitarra (Portuguese guitar) and the voices of fado singers.

We have parking onsite for two cars and can also accommodate a camper van or caravan. The pool and garden are for guests' exclusive use.
