The tranquil master bedroom, with a beautiful garden view, carries the tropical theme forward with its vintage furniture and a queen-size bed from the golden sixties. The en-suite marble bathroom adds a dash of luxury to your stay.

Parking
There is room for one car in the driveway. No problem if you come with two cars, in the street there is almost always the possibility of free parking (which is quite unique in Ghent).
Access to the house
You can enter the house thanks to the code you received. This code is only valid during your stay. Make sure you have everything with you when you check out. The code keyboard is located on the left side of the entrance door. Just enter your 6 digits, you may not press the arrow after entering your 6 digits as this will lock the door again.
We are passionate hosts and, while we're typically abroad during your stay, we're always available to help, and we stay in touch digitally. We've created a comprehensive digital guidebook for the house and our local recommendations, and we're always ready to assist with any specific requests or needs you may have. If required, our co-host Iris, who lives nearby, can also reach out or take over communications. Check-in is entirely self-managed, and we generally check in with you shortly after your arrival to ensure everything is fine. For longer stays, we may get in touch to arrange maintenance tasks such as hot tub upkeep, watering plants, or changing beds. We're here to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
Minut decibel sensor
In our commitment to ensure your stay is both safe and comfortable, we've equipped our property with a Minut security device. This Airbnb-approved, privacy-focused device helps us maintain a serene environment. It monitors noise levels, temperature, and humidity to optimize your stay. Rest assured, it doesn't record conversations. If your celebrations take a joyful turn, the device might just send you a friendly reminder to keep the noise down. Safety, comfort, and fun - that's what we aim for!
Security Cameras
Your peace of mind is our priority. We've installed two security cameras on the premises, one on the driveway for added safety, and another in the garage. The latter is there to check up on our furry friends - the cats - who have unrestricted access to the garage. No need to worry, this is the only indoor area with a camera, and your privacy in the rest of the house is undisturbed.
Safety for Kids
Our property is family-friendly and offers several amenities designed for younger guests. However, we kindly ask that children are supervised at all times, particularly when enjoying the upstairs hardwood terrace, hot tub, and sauna area. The upstairs terrace is a delightful spot to take in the surroundings, but please note it's kept open without railings on the garden side to maintain an open feel. As we always say - safety first, then relaxation! With adult supervision, we ensure that all our guests, big and small, have a safe and enjoyable stay.
