Beats an all-inclusive hands down

Location, location. We could enjoy the view and the white sand beach, peace and tranquility. We had all the amenities in our unit to prepare our meals, do our own laundry etc. If we felt like dining out, no problem, choices within walking distance. We can't say enough about 'Speedy' the building manager. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. We felt very safe and secure at this location.

Relax, Clean, Spacious, Quiet, Well lit at night, Beautiful

Rental: Wow, we are so glad we (family of 4) decided on this property after researching and looking for months. Just as described. Pictures are real!! Very very clean and updated, spacious, very quiet, we felt totally safe, staff/workers and neighbors are friendly as well as on the whole island. The owners were very patient and hospitable with us. The entire property (grounds and buildings) were very clean and well kept, well lit at night, even down to the beach. You can tell they take pride in this building and rental. About area: Beach is amazing - close to our unit and we could see out for miles and miles out to sea, (just like picture) from our room/balcony - Beautiful. You can snorkel (or any water sport) right there or walk a block in either direction. We totally relaxed here. There was nothing to stress over. We highly respect and admire the locals who are amazing people and take pride in and care of their island. It was a blessing to us to be able to contribute, even if insignificantly, to the economy by staying a week here, grocery shopping, excursions, rental car and restaurants. On the beach you are left alone to just relax. 5 stars!!!

Beautiful ocean front view

Our condo needed serval repairs. The condo is extremely clean and had a great Beachview. We could not stay there again however, because of the stairs and my husband being crippled. We were not aware of all of those stairs to get to our room. The porch screen fell off the first time we tried to close it and never stayed on. The showerhead in our bedroom was messed up and we could not shower and had to use the shower downstairs. The sink handle broke the first time we used it in our bathroom. The sheets we're really old and never stayed on the bed and the pillow cases would also come off. Every single night, so it made it hard to get a good night sleep. The owners and the housekeeper for extremely friendly really like them. All the people on the beach that we met and other people in the condos are all very friendly and we enjoyed making them. The location was great because it only took us a few minutes to get to stores and restaurants.

We are astounded by your review.. Our Manager and our housekeeper are just a phone call away. I have a full time handyman also. Why didn't you call our Manager and tell her the faucet handle broke? He would have come in 1/2 an hour and replaced the faucet. The water on the island is hard so the shower head had calcium that came off in 2 minutes with CLR cleaner. We ordered a new screen as soon as we heard,( which has been installed) and GB Glass, the company on the island that stocks these, was out of stock. It came the day after you left.. You may not be aware that islands must import EVERYTHING and sometimes an item will be out of stock. We write in our detailed Confirmation Letter to call our Manager for ANYTHING that is not totally optimum. You had her cell number and home number, my cell number, Diana's cell number and our Manager states she came by every day and only knew of the screen door. We DO NOT want our guests to have 5 minutes of any problems. Mike, Diana and Catherine (Manager)

We stayed for 7 days. From the moment we got there until the time we left, not one issue was fixed. The biggest issue we had is the water heater breaker kept tripping while taking showers. We literally had to have someone by the breaker flipping the breaker. The water pressure in the master bathroom made the bathroom unusable. The downstairs bathroom shower wasnt usable bc it didnt have a shower head. Day 5 they came in and put it on, then the shower would just stop working. We had to flip the breaker to get the water to come out again. Best water pressure on the premises is the rinse off shower out by the pool.The units are very old and out dated. They are not renovated, it is patch work. The furniture may be newer and a few counters may have been replaced but i wouldn't considered that renovated. The telephone never worked but the internet worked really well. The location is really good and secluded. It is a very relaxing area. Def need a rental car bc you will spend more in taxis. We had several requests but everyone on the island is on "island time." They arent there for you. They act like you are an inconvenience. I had to make the owner aware of the situation and they finally tried to fix a few things but they still didnt work properly. The island seas next door wasnt much better after talking to some of the . We would never go back to freeport in general. def try another island though. Really sad bc it is a beautiful beach but that's it.

I'm sorry that you did not read my confirmation letter. I specifically state that if there is any problem, the contact me immediately or contact my manager. When I heard from you, I immediately instructed my managed to replace the water heater and he did. Freeport has very hard water. It clogs up the water heater and causes the circuit breaker the trip. This happens to one of my units every 3 months and I keep spares of the water heater. Again, in my confirmation letter it states three local car places to rent it and also the fact that taxis are immediately available. As for Island Seas timeshare next door, next door, We have nothing to do with them other than I have an agreement to allow our guests to go there to their restaurant or pool or jacuzzi. Again sorry you didn't enjoy yourself maybe you should go to a all-inclusive next time Mike

Great Christmas in Bahamas

The location was very nice with ocean views and nice breezes. Very close to many beaches, stores, shops, etc. Very clean and well presented and maintained. Was extremely easy to settle in and check out with Catherine! Great communication with Mike and Diana too. Highly recommended.

Best place in the caribbean islands

If you went a condo on the beach you must rent this unit at Cannes village in Freeport Bahamas. You have this amazing view everywhere, you can be in the leaving room or on the balcony or on the second flore this is a killing view directely on the beach. If you love snorkeling or walk on the beach this is the place. We have been travelling for the past 30 years more than 3 times per year let me tell you, we will be back next year we found the dream spot. The place is so well maintain.
