Parken an der Straße, der Schlüssel wird beim Einchecken ausgestellt. Das Hotel liegt im Sunnymede Viertel, ein Block südlich der historischen Wayne St. (Wo Knute Rockne gelebt hat!). 1. 5 Meilen in die Innenstadt, in der Nähe viele gute Restaurants, Unterhaltung. Zu Fuß (ein langer Spaziergang) nach Notre Dame, aber die meisten Gäste nehmen Uber, LimeBike oder fahren. Eine schöne, ruhige Nachbarschaft.

The apartment is beautiful, comfortable, very tastefully decorated, and immaculately clean It is located in beautiful and safe South Bend neighborhood. The owner provides refreshments in the kitchen and refrigerator. Virtually anything needed for overnight travel is provided. Information about Notre Dame and South Bend attractions is provided. We really enjoyed our stay and will rebook in the future.

This was one of the best vacation rentals I've ever stayed at. The apartment was very clean and well-managed. The attention to detail was fantastic, and there was everything we needed to have a great stay, including extra toiletries, information about the Notre Dame game/campus, and comfortable accomodations. I only had one minor issue during my stay and Steve went above and beyond in responding to it.I absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting South Bend or attending a Notre Dame game.

Football Weekend

Perfect for a football weekend!

My husband and I stayed here last weekend while visiting our freshman at ND and attending the ND/Stanford game. It is a 2 mile walk to campus which was perfect for us. Extremely clean, comfortable, and cozy. Steve was great to work with, kind and knowledgeable. Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway!

What a perfect place to stay! Steve was a fantastic host—communication was effective, the place was spotless, with attention to every detail: pillow choices, info about local places to park for the ND football game (which we used, and it was so simple!), a variety of extra toiletries, clean spaces, all in a picturesque, quiet street. It was wonderful to come back to a quiet, comfortable, roomy space to relax after a busy day. Would definitely stay here again when we come to our next ND game!

Visited South Bend for the ND vs Navy game. Great spot, very convenient to the University. Quiet tree lined street. Parking not an issue. The basement apartment has its own entrance around the back of the house and felt very safe. Great outdoor lighting at night. The apartment is very spacious and cool decor. Host had water, fizzy flavored waters, fresh fruit, coffee and candies for me. Excellent instructions for the TV and heating/AC system. Bathroom super clean and modern with multiple options for shampoo/body cleanser. The host was very accessible in regards to questions. I would say best VRBO I have ever stayed at. Will definitely try to stay here next time I’m in town for a game.

Excellent Place to Stay if attendiny a Notre Dame Game

This VRBO was in a nice quiet neighborhood only a couple of miles from the Notre Dame Stadium. The separate rental space is in a very private basement with your own entry/exit way. If there was someone in the upper elevations of the home you would have never known it. The accommodations are all very thoughtful and comfortable. We will defintely be looking to stay again on our annual visit to Notre Dame.

Impeccably clean and comfortable

We loved Steve’s place! Quiet, comfortable and incredibly clean. Had so many nice touches - from the toiletries in the bathroom to the drinks in the fridge. We highly recommend this property! Steve is awesome to work with and goes the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. He was also a great resource for places to eat/hang out at in South Bend.

Immaculate basement apartment with a retro theme. Host provided details like parking, ND bag policy, even the weekend program. Host has thought of everything. We were also surprised with cupcakes and a card because I had mentioned in my booking that it was our anniversary. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and thoughtful basement apartment

Very pleased with the host's, Steve's, basement apartment. Cozy and well equipped for our needs. Excellent attention to detail to ensure our stay was comfortable and worry free. Communication was great, parking was easy, check in process well thought out and easy. We stayed for a ND footbll weekend. Walk from the residence to campus is about 2 miles and another half mile to the stadium. Honestly not a bad walk and plenty of parking about a mile from campus near the Trader Joes if you want to cut it in half. Neighborhood and walk felt safe even at night. Will stay again!!!

Perfect for a football weekend!

Steve’s property is ideally located for a Notre Dame football weekend. The basement apartment was very clean with a unique retro decor. Attention to detail was great. Steve provided coffee, creamers, fresh fruit, various toiletry items, and even hand warmers to keep us warm during the frigid November weather. There was plenty of hot water, a large shower, and comfortable bed with a variety of pillow types to choose from. Overall a great stay. We would definitely stay again when in town for another football game.

Exceptional Hospitality

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The apartment is roomy and well appointed, with a great mid-century theme. The little extras throughout the apartment were really phenomenal: water and seltzer in the fridge, fresh fruit in the kitchen, the fullest complement of toiletries I’ve seen, and truly all the comforts of home. The entire experience was wonderful, start to finish, and I’d absolutely stay here again. Thanks, Steve!

Notre Dame Weekend

This property was perfect for my wife and my bucket list trip to Notre Dame University. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood a little over a mile from campus. Steve was quick to respond and even offered things such as a cooler for tailgating. He had stocked the kitchenette and bathroom with snacks, waters, and a wide range of bathroom products you may forget. Perfect for a party of 2. I have travelled all over the world for business and stayed at many hotels and a few VRBOs. This ranks up there with the best as you get what is advertised and more.

Cozy lodging in a quiet neighborhood

Steve's basement apartment is one of the best accommodations I've stayed in. From the private, easily accessible entrance, to the spacious and clean setting, and the updated features, this is an exceptional place to stay for any event in South Bend. No detail was overlooked; abundance of toiletries if you forgot anything, snacks, drinks and fruit stocked in the kitchen, detailed game information and hot tips from a local, made me feel right at home. Not easily walkable to the stadium, but downtown is totally accessible on foot through quiet neighborhoods and only crossing one major street. I would absolutely book this listing in the event I come back to South Bend.

a pleasant change of pace for a Notre Dame weekend

I hesitate to write this review because I want to be able to book this property again for a ND football weekend. A little "off campus" but this was a plus as it was safe, quiet and homey. We loved the decor; very stylish and very retro. Apartment had everything we needed and the owners checked in to see if we were comfortable. All and all a great stay. Go Irish!

Great rental and host!

A friend and I stayed here for a Notre Dame football game, and we loved this place! The host has clearly put a lot of thought and care into making sure all the details are taken care of for you to enjoy your stay.
