More than enough space. Great place from which to launch my daily excursions (Seneca Falls, Aurora, Ithaca). A couple terrific meals at Osteria Salina in town. Host was responsive. I hope to stay here again in summer sometime.

The house was easy to find and the parking for one car was good. However, there were some concerns. The door in the kitchen does not lock and upon further inspection for our safety, the door at the bottom of the back stairs had a flimsy dead bolt made for closing dog gates. Also, if the other tennants did not lock their side it would not matter. Although we enjoyed our weekend, the house does not seem to be very secure. As a person who has supervised cleaning crews, I reconized immediately by smell that the cleaning crew is using way too much cleain solution. WHen we arrived we had to open window and doors to air our the B&B. As we pulled dishes and pans out of the cupboard we found more that a few that were not clean. We washed all of the dishes and pans for the next guest. Behind the couch in the living room there is a dirt, debris and a coins. This peorty could be a much better stay if the above issues are corrected.

Thank you for the review. We will live in this apartment for a month in June so everything possible will be prim and polished. I will speak to the clean people about the strong solution which isn't good for them. The back kitchen door should have a key. It is from an earlier period and I tied it there with string but someone may have removed it. The people just before you had some trouble with the battery lock on the front door so they were using the back. I found out later that they had the key. It will be replaced. That would help you be secure for sure.

Clean and spacious Victorian apartment

The home was clean, secure and cozy! It had everything we needed while staying in the area to see a play at the merry go round theater. We were comfortable with fresh air or AC, and the apartment had everything we needed.

This upstairs Flat in Auburn is our home this month for 2 weeks. We enjoy the porch watching the weather come and go. It is a very comfortable place for us because we just need food and we are at home. Charming Finger Lakes Flat is now a 3 bedroom with a single we added last year. We host a lot of families who can now separate their children to separate bedrooms. Something for everyone.

Property was very close to downtown so location was perfect. Certainly an old home without recent updates. We didn’t spend too much time in the house but if we did, a bigger TV in the living room would have been nice. Fine for a short trip.

We loved staying here and the location was very convenient to all we wanted to do. Our rental car was a little big for parking easily in the designated spot though. The front balcony was a sweet surprise and we were so happy that you had cards on site! They made for very enjoyable evenings.

Perfect for a wedding weekend

Our daughter was getting married and we needed a place to stay in Auburn. It worked out perfect for her to get ready before the wedding and was conveniently located near her hair stylist. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed. And the porch was nice for drinking my morning coffee and enjoying the neighborhood.

Came for my son’s audition at merry go round and we needed a spot to just chill and this was a perfect spot. Close to everything, clean, big and comfy beds! We would come back if he gets the summer job!

The Charming Finger Lakes Flat is out summer go-to for June. We just upgraded several things this year and will get new photos soon. It is a comfy, large space that works well for 5. Plus we have boat and RV parking for fishermen and duck hunters. PS we love Merey Go Round theater .

Our “Like Home Charming 2 Bedroom upstairs Flat” in Auburn New York is our go-to place in June or October. Gorgeous, roomy and great kitchen and private porch. We love it .

This is our second stay, and would definitely come back. I've had to stay elsewhere in auburn, and was looking forward to coming back to this location. Spacious, and comfortable. Arrived on hot summer day, ACs turned on, very comfortable as we got into place. Best stocked rental I've ever been in. All little details covered.Lots of pans and supplies for cooking. Laundry available. Host was very accommodating to some of our special needs, also communicated back quickly. I look forward to our next stay here.

Comfortable

Great common areas

This property has great common areas. Dining room is nice for 4 people, and living room is very comfortable for 4 people

So glad you enjoyed your stay. Our CHARMING FINGER LAKES FLAT in Auburn, NY is a great place to spend your time. Walk to town restaurants and pubs easily. We stay there ourselves in the summer for a week or so. We LOVE the porch!

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed the apartment thoroughly! It was close to everything and lovely to stay in. We had breakfast on the porch every morning, which was glorious and walked to various restaurants and destinations in town. So convenient. And the beds so comfortable!

We arrived right after you left and yes, it was glorious weather and the Flat was perfect. We went to Moros Table (walking distance) for dinner one night and I had breakfast at the Hunter's Dinerant ( funny name but an original diner of a dying breed). Thank you for your review and hope to see you again. We added two huge fans in the kitchen and living room so the air would move through the Flat and it was a great idea. Fall in Auburn should be fantastic from the Flat. My Best Dene

This is the town I was born in and where my relatives still live. I was raised in a nearby and spent my teen years here. I am adventurous and love to travel to new places for the people, the food and the different cultures. I particularly love the Latin cultures and central and South America.

I was visiting this area because my parents were elderly. This building was empty but I felt I could visualize a Christmas tree in the front window. After I purchased it I did have that tree in the front window my first Christmas.

I love porches. Those lazy summer evenings and the aromatic fall days on a porch are so relaxing. I love to walk and Historic Downtown Auburn area is close and a perfect place to wander.
