Located in El Born, one of the oldest sections of Barcelona, gives you narrow alleys, tons of quaint shops and restaurants, but also older buildings that are worn and carry smells from cooking and living close together. This property is fairly large with a separate bedroom with door that allows an early riser the ability to read and have a cup of coffee while the late riser sleeps. The bed is a double, not the queen that was shown in the listing I reserved from, but I see that has been adjusted. The mattress is very firm, the shower has plenty of hot water with good pressure. The galley has necessary tools. The furnishings and decorations are basic. The location really can't be beat - but it is in a pedestrian area and you will have to walk a few blocks to access taxis.
