Relax in the living room on the comfy sofa and make use of the TV. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a kingsize on the first floor with direct access to the bathroom where you will find a corner shower, jacuzzi bath, toilet, basin and heated towel rail. The stairs which are located in the main bedroom take you up to the second floor where you will find two single beds which is ideal for the children to sleep (please be aware, low ceilings).
Swanage high street is short walk away with a variety of independent shops, convenience stores, eateries, pubs and of course fish and chip shops to enjoy on the water’s edge.
There is a museum in Swanage with information on the history of the town including the Jurassic Coast, dinosaurs and the second world war; there is certainly something for all the family to be interested in. Swanage has a train station with a steam train which can take you to Corfe Castle, a beautiful town with the ruins of a 1000-year-old castle which is a National Trust site. If you want to connect with the outdoors you can walk along the Jurassic Coast, perhaps a day trip to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door for spectacular scenery or visit Durlston Country Park and National Nature Reserve where you can also visit Durlston Castle an extraordinary Victorian building with ever changing exhibitions inside. For the thrill seekers you can book trips to go out on the water including sea fishing, diving or coasteering.
Back at the property, you can enjoy an evening under the stars with your favourite drink and make use of the BBQ whilst planning the next days adventures.
