There are beautiful beaches to explore at nearby Sizewell and Dunwich. The town also lies within close proximity to Thorpeness and Aldeburgh. This rural town is also a haven for walkers and cyclists as it is located near the coast and the RSPB's Minsmere nature reserve, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB)
