We had a fab stay.

We had a fab stay. It's so nice to stay in a holiday home that has good quality kitchen equipment and it had everything we needed. The location is beautiful and quiet, the extensive grounds were great for the kids and the dog. The adults loved the firepit and hot tub. Whilst there isn't loads to do in the immediate vicinity, it did mean we spent much more time enjoying the house and grounds. We would highly recommend.

Back from a fabulous week stopping in the beautiful Dower House Lodge.

Back from a fabulous week stopping in the beautiful Dower House Lodge. It’s everything you expect from the photos and more. This place is great if you are looking for a home from home where you can switch off, relaxed and unwind. There is loads of space inside and out and the views across the fields are as stunning as the property itself. Car is needed but you have everything you need within around a 5 mile radius. All of the leaflets in the lodge were really helpful for us to plan places to visit. It was great to go out for the day and come back to chill in the hot tub as the sun was going down. And if you have kids plenty of games in the lodge for them play and lots of outside space too. This place is great for family’s, couples or friends as it has everything you would need. We would definitely stop again.

A great place to get away from it all.

A great place to get away from it all. Beautifully decorated and with everything you need even down to dog bowls and biscuits. The outside space is well fenced so the dog is free to run around he particularly loved running the length of the top field and then sniffing and exploring around the orchard. The hot tub was a welcome addition and kept scrupulously clean with Dave checking each morning. Sitting around the fire pit watching the sunset and then watching the stars appear was a very pleasant way to spend an evening. Everything from the welcome pack to the extra large soft towels showed the level of detail that Dave and Nikki have put into providing such a relaxing and welcoming home from home. We will be back - in fact we had rebooked before we left.
