It is a wonderful, welcoming property perfect for couples or a small family wishing to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area. The open plan living is beautifully presented with a comfortable leather sofa where you can sit and enjoy the outlook particularly on a fine day when you can fling open the patio doors. The open plan kitchen is extremely well equipped for your catering needs. The quality continues in the bedrooms with super comfy beds and complemented by lovely soft furnishings making your stay a real joy. Outside is perfect for you and your four legged friends with two fully enclosed decking areas where you can sit and enjoy a meal, or perhaps a glass of wine watching the sun setting and to spot some wildlife including red squirrels, deer and buzzards.



Wildhaven Lodge is only 1 mile from the small town of Dalbeattie, and if walking and cycling is your pastime, you have found your perfect location. You can take advantage of the direct access to many walking and bike trails including the famous 7Stanes mountain bike trail at Dalbeattie Forest. This unspoilt corner of south west Scotland is a joy to explore and boasts 300 miles of coastline with sandy bays, forests, an abundance of wildlife and some of the darkest skies in the UK. The area offers something for everyone be it lazing on the many magnificent beaches, exhilarating mountain biking or just quiet country lane cycling and some of the finest golf courses in Scotland.

Just along the road from the lodge are the lovely little villages of Kippford and Rockcliffe where you can enjoy a variety of watersports or perhaps just enjoy a meal or a drink in the two waterfront pubs watching the world go by. There are plenty of activities for children including Mabie Park Farm, Dalscone, Ernespie Farm Park and the Cocoa Bean Chocolate Factory.
