Welcome to Victory Mill - Apartment One, a charming and secluded holiday apartment nestled in the heart of Pickering, North Yorkshire. Ideal for up to four guests, the modern and contemporary design creates an inviting and comfortable base for those exploring all on offer in the local area.



Well designed, and newly refurbished for 2023, the spacious open-plan living area features large windows that bathe the space in natural light, showcasing the apartment's stylish decor and modern furnishings. Relax on the sumptuous sofa, with Smart TV and Wi-Fi included during your stay.



You’ll find a well-equipped, large kitchen with all mod-cons needed to whip up delicious meals. Share your culinary creations at the elegant dining table, or why not step outside and down to the private riverside, taking in the delightful views of the surrounding countryside. For the summer a communal BBQ and picnic area will be provided to provide al-fresco dining.



Victory Mill, once a working mill and re-named after the second world war, accommodates up to four guests - making it perfect for couples, families, or a group of friends. The apartment features two beautifully designed bedrooms, each providing a cosy and tranquil retreat after a day of exploration. Bedroom one offers a comfortable double bed, while the second bedroom provides two single beds. You’ll find a spacious bathroom, with shower over bath, basin, and WC.



Enjoy the convenience of private parking, and make use of the communal garden area, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine or enjoying a leisurely stroll. Four-legged friends are welcome during your stay, with plenty of outdoor space to explore, including private stream sidewalks from images shown. On the ground floor of the building in the estate offices, guests can make arrangements to use and access a business centre (open 8-5) - for more information please contact us. A set of four steps are required to access the apartment from the main door.



With Pickering's market town centre under 10 mins away, explore the local shops, charming cafes, and restaurants, or visit the famous Pickering Castle. The apartment is also ideally situated for those looking to explore the breath-taking beauty of the North York Moors National Park or hop aboard the renowned North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

Great apartment

Fantastic location and lovely, clean and cosy apartment. It had everything we needed for a short break. It was great to be able to walk into woodland and the village from the apartment, but we also appreciated the dog friendly area at the back. We will definitely be returning soon.

Lovely, huge apartment in a perfect location

Lovely, huge apartment in a perfect location. Very close to walk to the shops/pubs. Easy walk into Dalby Forest. Boot/ utility room really useful. Apartment would benefit from a few usual bits and pieces ie. Condiments , hand wash. Also would benefit from a larger sofaan extra one, as it’s such a huge room and not a lot of seating if 4 are staying.

Nice environment. Large rooms. Quiet and rural setting with easy walks nearby. The weather was hot (28degC) and the building was extemely warm and we couldn&#39t cool down. We left one night early due to the heat and the consequential lack of sleep. Bedroom would benefit from having storage drawers

A welcome break with s few minor issues. I would stay again and I would recommend.

Breakfast not available but was in town . Only two toilet rolls. Bad smell in the fridge. Outside car park lights not working.

Appliances all worked well and kitchen had most utensils and plates etc required for self catering. Plenty of drying for wet clothes in a wet week. Useful boot room for cleaning muddy boots. Secure bike shed looked very safe. Overall the apartment was spacious. There was only a small number of cutlery sets for an apartment that could host 4 guests. Could do with a hair dryer and a teapot. The master bedroom did not have enough wardrobe space, so we ended up putting our holdalls on the deep window sills.

Had a lovely stay here, overall it was a good place.

Apartment is alot bigger than the photos suggest, the living/dining room/ kitchen area is massive. The apartment is in a good location for the local village with it being a 10 minute walk. There is a nice walk behind the apartment, good outside space for anyone staying with pets. Had a nice stay and would recommend. Will probably re book in the future. I feel the living room could do with another sofa as it is such a big space, having only one chair and sofa isnt really ideal if four people are staying as it is a bit of a squeeze. The apartment was missing a few basics that my family would normally expect (for the price we paid), such as cleaning items like antibac spray and tea towels. Even some basic cooking items like oil/salt/pepper would be nice. The hot water is very hot so would be careful if running a bath.

Lovely apartment in a fabulous location.

This is a recent renovation of an old flour mill. The location is excellent, on the edge of a very picturesque village, which is only five minutes walk along beautiful stream from the mill. The apartment is large, clean and generally well furnished. The kitchen is large open plan and generally well equipped. It is extremely quiet, partly as a result of the location, but also the metre thick stone walls. Parking is very easy and communication with the management company straightforward. The Wi-Fi is good which is important as phone reception is poor. I’d happily book again. There is not much to dislike. The Apartment is purpose-built as a holiday let and perhaps lacks a few touches that you might expect to have somebody been living there for longer. For example, the apartment is clearly for four people yet there is really only comfortable seating for three which could be an issue for some. Early reviews have pointed to missing frying pans and hairdryers, but I’m pleased to say they are now in place. We weren’t provided with any washing up clothes, sponges,Kitchen roll which was probably an oversight.
