We are going to call this the “hand me down house” because everything was old and dingy from the towels to the pillows on the bed to the couches. The pillows had been used long-term and were completely flat so we had to buy some more just to be able to sleep comfortably. The remote was taped together with packing tape. The very minimal pots and pans in the kitchen were old and hardly usable. The stove ran way too hot even on low. If not for the pool, this house would’ve been a total joke. There were a few towels in each bathroom. There were so few we had to wash them four times over during the week. Plan on buying essentials on your way because there were two rolls of toilet paper and no paper towel, towels or foil, none of the kitchen necessities. No hangers in closets. The foosball table was so wobbly my son had to get a screwdriver and tighten it so they could play. The garage was full of junk and the linen closet that should have had extra linens was also full of junk. When I asked for the address when we were on our way I was given the street name and no number. Then when we arrived in Florida, I get a text saying we are looking forward to your stay tomorrow. We were scheduled for the same day we landed so I didn’t know if there was someone in the house and we couldn’t get in. I never could get a response from the owner. I text several times called a couple times and left a voicemail. No response. There is no attention to detail or thoughtfulness.
