Calypso Retreat makes a luxurious base for those wishing to explore the wonderful island of Gozo. It holds a fantastic location just a short distance from the vibrant village of Xaghra, next to the iconic view of ‘Calypso Cave’ and very close to Ramla Bay, famously known for its strikingly red sand. Calypso Retreat is a perfect vacation home for eight guests to relax and unwind across three bedrooms each offering lovely ensuite bathrooms. Full of Gozitan charm, the exterior of this villa offers the privacy of a large back terrace with a gorgeous pool, welcoming hot tub, sunbathing spots and a secluded olive-tree garden.

Upon entering Calypso Retreat, three well-appointed bedrooms await you. Two of the bedrooms have lovely king-sized beds paired with wonderful en-suite bathrooms. The other bedroom makes the perfect bedroom for children to share with two single beds and an ensuite bathroom.

With an open plan living area including kitchen, living room and dining room, Calyspo Retreat offers the perfect place for entertaining friends and family. The chefs among you will love using the fully-equipped kitchen with electric oven, stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, crockery and dishwasher. Others may enjoy stretching out across the L-shaped sofa infront of the TV.

Step outside to find a beautiful pool surrounded by beautiful stone walls making your stay all the more peaceful. Enjoy lunches using the charcoal grill, dinning around the large table in the cool shade under the canopy looking onto a beautiful olive garden. As the sun starts to set, make your way into the hot tub and bubble away into the night with the starry lit sky twinkling on the water.

Travelers are advised to fly to Malta and then conveniently catch a short ferry ride to reach Gozo.

Located on the outskirts of the charming village of Xaghra and 3.6 km east of Gozo's capital, Victoria, Calypso Retreat offers a prime position. It rests adjacent to the iconic "Calypso Cave" viewpoint and is a stone's throw from the renowned Ramla Bay, known for its distinct red sand. Additionally, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ggantija, is close by, with all essential amenities conveniently within walking distance.

Despite Gozo's compact size—just seven kilometers in length and slightly over thirteen kilometers wide—there is a wealth of activities to suit all preferences. Bed linen and bath towels are included in the rental price. Please bring your own pool towels.

End of stay cleaning included?
Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.

Insurance?
Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.

Tax?
Eco Tax in force from 1st June 2016 to be paid by all tourists over the age of 18 as follows: €0.50 per guest per night, capped at a maximum of 10 nights per stay (i.e. Eur 5.00 per guest). The tax contribution will be collected upon arrival by the property owner.

Other Ts and Cs?
All electricity and water consumption is included. But for Electricity this is capped at 45 units consumption per day, which is far more than enough. If this is exceeded, the extra units will be charged from their security deposit at the rate of 0.38c (including VAT) per unit.
