Peacefully set within a desirable terraced row of Coastguard Cottages in Dawlish, showcasing uninterrupted and far-reaching sea-views across Dawlish beach and out towards both Lyme Bay and Torbay.
On the ground floor, discover a well-equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare a home cooked meal. Relax in the living/dining room which is comfortably furnished with plenty of seating and a Smart TV with Netflix. The perfect space to unwind whilst gazing out over the sea with patio door opening out onto the terrace. The terrace isn’t enclosed, however, the property has it’s own private seating area with a picnic table. For those of a nervous disposition, the wall to the terrace garden has a 10 meter drop down to the railway line, so children will need to be aware and supervised at all times. However, all that being noted we guarantee these views will captivate you. Two of the charming bedrooms are on the first floor and have a sea-views at the rear of the property. The third bedroom is at the front of the cottage and has a ¾ double bed and the family bathroom completes the property.
There is direct public access to Dawlish beach via a flight of steps, so not far to walk and perfect for heading out onto the golden sands and enjoy paddling in the sea, before exploring the town’s selection of charming cafés and local shops. Walk along the south west coast path and you will reach neighbouring Dawlish Warren where you’ll find a mile of beautiful beach backed by sand dunes and a nature reserve. Cyclists and walkers can follow the scenic route from Dawlish to Exeter, which runs alongside the Exeter Canal and the River Exe. A ferry from nearby Starcross takes passengers with or without bikes across the estuary to Exmouth where you can join the Exe Estuary Trail. Beach within ¼ mile.
