Pine Ridge Lodge - a lodge that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms

Pine Ridge Lodge is a beautifully appointed lodge in Boat of Garten on the Speyside Way, close to the Golf Club, Speyside Steam Railway and The Boat Hotel.

Inside this uniquely designed Lodge split over three levels the living area has a vaulted ceiling, comfy leather sofas, cosy log burner and balcony which has lovely views of the Cairngorm mountain range.

The garden area is south facing and it is completely enclosed. Catch the morning sun on the Breakfast Deck, accessed directly off the kitchen. There is also a BBQ and a Sitooterie to enable the whole group to enjoy the garden all day. There is also a trampoline and table tennis, which is under cover. A large covered hot tub completes this amazing lodge.

Please note: this Lodge is designed to be bookable for families and family groups, other groups must contact us before booking. This property is not able to accept bookings from Stag or Hen parties.

Perfect location and ideal house

Everything about Pine Ridge Lodge was spot on. Exactly as described, very clean and welcoming. Perfect surroundings close to Aviemore, but still very quiet. Lots of extras (games, DVDs, etc, etc) available - which was a really nice touch.

Amazing home in a fantastic location!

We’ve stayed in many properties with GNL and have never had any issues, and their communication has always been great. Pine Ridge Lodge is an amazing home and my family and I loved it here. Location is fantastic, house very roomy and comfortable and the garden is perfect for our wee dog. Already booked again for next year!

An Old Friend

Having returned again to Pine Ridge Lodge, it is like coming back to an old friend. The location of the lodge is perfect and while some elements may be considered a little dated it is very comfortable and clean and perfect for any size party from 2 up to full occupancy, especially with the secure gardens which are perfect for a furry 4-legged member of the family. A great base to either just sit back and relax or to venture out and enjoy what the region has to offer. Having stayed at a number of different lodges this is the one I keep returning to.

Escape in the woods

We have been here a few times and always love coming back. The new tub is a bonus and fitted us all in no problem. The house is full of character and charm but has everything you need to make a great holiday.

Perfect holiday home.

We had a fantastic break away at Pine Ridge Lodge, the house is very well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. We were pretty lucky with the weather and were able to make use of the barbecue and garden. The location is perfect with beautiful views and ideal for walking being right on the Speyside Way. We all wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be making a return visit.

Wonderful week!

A great place to stay for our family get together, loved everything about the house and large gardens. Stunning location and views. Comfortable, clean, well equipped accommodation, everything we needed, perfect! Walks directly from the door, good pub and restaurant within walking distance. Hot tub fab after a good days walking. Break at Pineridge Lodge

As we drove up to the Lodge a Fawn decided to join us in the garden - what a great start to our holiday . Weather was so hot we spent a great deal of time enjoying all of the outside seatings and hot tub. Loved how spacious the Lodge was , light streaming through windows gave amazing views of The Cairngorms. Able to walk to Anderson’s restaurant was a bonus. Will definitely return.

A very happy week at pine ridge lodge. The house was well equipped and the hot tub was wonderful! Could do with carpeting upstairs, as the wooden floors were a bit cold and noisy, but otherwise very happy.

Fabulous Lodge in a Beautiful Location

We love staying in greater Aviemore area and specifically the Boat of Garten, and this is our favourite place to stay so far! Stunning lodge with loads of space inside and out! Large gardens, lots of birds (very worthwhile feeding them) and other wildlife, even a red squirrel made an appearance. The lodge provides great views of the Cairngorm mountain range, which we were lucky to be snow capped for most of our stay. There are fabulous walks for the dogs from the door and would highly recommend the village pub and restaurant. The lodge is well equipped, spacious and the living space is superb. Bedrooms all very comfortable with plenty of bathrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend Pine Ridge Lodge and will return in the not to distant future.

Impressive and spacious property

We booked Pine Ridge Lodge as a family holiday during autumn and had a superb week considering we had travelled north through storm Ciaran to get to the lodge. There were so many things to do from walks and cycling to just enjoying the peaceful surroundings and wildlife close to the lodge. We especially enjoyed the hot tub at the end of a busy day. We really did not want to leave and could happily have stayed for at least another week!

The best family holiday

As this was our 3rd time staying at pine ridge Lodge we were not disappointed. The standard has not dropped. We were very relaxed as if it was our home . We saw all our usual places as the lodge is so close to all the amenities that we use .. we also saw the resident cuckoo. A dear and a osprey. Fantastic.

Awesome weekend with friends

Once again Great North Lodges was AMAZING! We use them regularly and they never let us down, every property is fantastic, great location, clean, comfortable and creates a lovely atmosphere for the perfect weekend away. Hot tub, table tennis table and garden were great for a sunny weekend and the social areas great for sitting, chilling and chatting! We will be back again, and again oh and probably again :)

Great to be back

I love this lodge!! The location is superb and the lodge and grounds are perfect for what I (and my dog) need. Some may consider the internals to be a little dated but it is so comfortable and welcoming and has all the amenities, facilities and equipment you could want. The only thing I bring with me is my own pillow but that is purely down to my preference for memory foam over feather.

An absolutely lovely lodge. Everything you’d need provided. Cozy and comfortable with , super comfy beds. Very spacious inside and out. Fantastic outdoor space in garden perfect for children . The back gate leading onto the woods perfect for a stroll or dog walk . The area is also perfect good shop nearby and has, also a restaurant and pizza takeaway. Bike hire with cycle route into Aviemore. Oh and mustn’t forget the hot tub Pine ridge lodge is just the perfect place to Stay and relax or be more adventurous in the beautiful area. I hope to go back

Dog walkers dream

Watch the sunrise from the balcony, out for a 7 mile walk, car not needed. Late lunch at the Nethy bridge coffee shop. Home to the hot tub to ease the muscles. Dinner and watch the sunset. Collapse into a warm comfy bed! What’s not to like. Totally enjoyed the facilities of the house. In a beautiful situation surrounded by amazing walks. Property maybe slightly tired, but so was I at the end of the day!

Idliic, superb garden well apportioned lodge.

Superb and we’re just about to book again from next year. Superb value, ample outdoor spaces and really interesting , 100% secure, garden for our 2 large energetic dogs. This enabled us to relax and enjoy the various sun traps around the huge garden. Worth being up early and enjoying the course of wild life from the balcony. Rear gate allows direct access to the wooded trails and the various walks from the lodge are first class. Due to the layout the bedrooms are very private and individual The charming interior is well furnished, and consistent with a lodge of its age. Some minor changes if it was ours would be more outdoor dining crockery and the charming open shed at the bottom of the garden could do with a clean. Overall- a gem of a find and one we can see ourselves rebooked each year. As always GNL were instrumental in matching our needs to the property and their customer service is second to none.
