Portimão Tourist Tax applies to all guests aged 13 and older who stay in tourist accommodations* or local lodging** in the Municipality of Portimão, regardless of nationality or residence. The tax is charged per person per night, for up to seven nights.



HOW MUCH IS THE TAX?



€1 per person, per night (up to 7 consecutive nights/person) from November 1 to March 31 – low season



€2 per person, per night (up to 7 consecutive nights/person) from April 1 to October 31 – high season



This will be charged at check-in. Please contact us for more information.



NOTE: A €200 security deposit is required before check-in – we hold the deposit on your credit card (upon arrival or one day before), and it will be released up to 7 days after check-out. Please ensure you’re aware of this refundable deposit before your arrival. The last thing we want is any misunderstandings!



The platform does not retain the security deposit, and allows us to collect it directly from the guest. This information appears when you confirm your reservation. Therefore, all bookings must pay the refundable deposit before or on the day of check-in.
