There is much to do in the village alongside the castle and its amazing history, there are impressive stretches of pure golden sandy beaches, many English tea rooms and restaurants, St. Aidan’s Church and a wonderful RNLI museum dedicated to Grace Darling. Why not hit the waves yourself with a trip to the Farne Islands? Take a boat trip from Seahouses and see the medieval pele tower and Victorian lighthouse, as well as the famous sea bird colony.
