This place has so much potential, but it's just not there. When we arrived, the provided key fob did not allow us into the property. After messaging back and forth with the host, we were eventually given access to the emergency key, which worked. The whole process took us an additional 20 minutes, definitely not an ideal way to end a long travel day. The next day, after we had breakfast, we noticed that there were dirty, moldy dishes in the dishwasher, along with a bathroom sink that did not drain at all, and the only bathroom light did not work. In addition, there were no garbage bags made available for us either. The host was made aware of these issues in the morning, but did not respond to our message until the afternoon. I'm assuming the host was in a different time zone, because this happened often when we contacted the host in the morning. The host was able to dispatch a cleaning crew and maintenance team to our flat the next day while we were away. The kitchen cleanliness and garbage bag situations were taken care of, but the bathroom sink draining and bathroom light were unable to be fixed during our stay. For our inconvenience, the cleaning fee was refunded. As a side note, the balcony was a great surprise, with a wonderful view of the Thames and London. Unfortunately, we were unable to spend any time out on the balcony because it had been overtaken by pigeons and their droppings were everywhere.
