Perfect appartment in Oslo

We had a very good stay in that appartment with 5 people. * good communication with the owner before arriving and during the stay * easy instructions for check-in and how to get the key * nice, clean appartment with 3 bedrooms * good equipped kitchen * easy instructions for trash, internet, and leaving the appartment after check-out One little point to consider is the positioning of the beds in the room. Always one person has to crawl over the other person. We would love to come back.

This is a house that is lived in. How can you tell? There are no little overlooked maintenance items like you see in properties where the hosts never set foot in the place. One of the best maintained properties we've stayed in for quite a awhile. The location is a quick 10 minute cab ride from the train station. We had a small amount of confusion during check in, but Arne was right there to help us and this kept the whole process smooth. The view is even more stunning than the pictures. It was dark when we arrived, and I think that's when the view is at its best - with all the lights of downtown shining across the harbor, and with boats all lit up traveling in and out. Magical! The living spaces are very comfortable. There is plenty of seating and surfaces to set a beverage or even a laptop or two. There was also enough wardrobe space to keep your clothes tidy. The kitchen was a powerhouse - everything you needed in a sleek, useful space. The downstairs view, while not as dramatic as upstairs, was incredibly cozy in the winter when everything was covered in snow. Sitting at the table in the morning with my hot chocolate watching the snow falling was peaceful and beautiful.This part of town almost feels like its own little world. A really stunning little world with great views everywhere you look, and tons of incredible restaurants. Thank you Arne and Rune for sharing your amazing home!

Great stay in a perfect Oslo location!We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Tjuvholmen. The neighborhood is beautiful — full of nice restaurants, close to the city, and right by the water.The apartment has two floors: the first with a small but well-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, and a balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard. Upstairs you’ll find the master bedroom and a living room with a stunning view of the fjord. Both floors have small bathrooms with shower and wc. The downstairs one also has a washing machine and a dryer. All three bedrooms have double beds, though they’re placed against the wall on one side, so getting in and out can be a bit tight.The place was clean and comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent — friendly, quick, and helpful throughout our stay.We had a great time here and would definitely stay again.

Great apartment in a great location. This space is exactly as described. Very clean and well laid out. Nice view from the upper floor. Enough room for two couples. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bedrooms are small but worked fine and the beds are comfortable.

Stairs were steep for people are age, maybe that can be noted? Getting keys were a hassle as phone number at Security was incomplete. We enjoyed the unit, especially the location.

Place was very convenient, nice and trendy neighborhood, and pretty views of harbor on second floor. Many restaurants and sights in easy walking distance. Place was also clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looked nice and functional. Owner was very responsive.

Apartment was clean. View is to an interior courtyard? The third bedroom, obviously the master, is up a steep flight of stairs as is the second bathroom. Kitchen is well stocked. Location is great. While seemingly cumbersome, the check-in process went smoothly.

Short stay in Oslo

We were on a tour of Norway with our adult children celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We only had 3 days in Oslo so this city center apartment was just right for us close to the museums and easy access via train from the airport. Would recommend!

Wonderful stay in the middle of Oslo

Amazing location with so much to do. Surrounded by art and restaurants. Nice compact apartment that had everything we needed. The staircase to the living room and the 3rd bedroom/ bathroom are quite steep so beware. Great communication with hosts.

Property was exactly as described. Quiet area and very central to get around. Lots of restaurants, groceries and stores within close walking distance. Beautiful view of the harbor from the top level. Floor plan of apartment is a bid odd and not ideal if you don’t like steep stairs but it was perfect for us. Would recommend.

The perfect apartment, in the perfect area, in a perfect city, with a perfect host!

The apartment was clean and modern. The location could not be better. So many resturants and shopping close by. Very accessiable to the trams, busses and taxis. The host gave clear check in directions and checked in with us during our stay. 10 out of 10!

Excellent location

A little challenged understanding checkin. My son and daughter-in-law who live in Oslo figured it out. The apartment is as pictured however rooms are smaller than they appear. The stairs to the upper level where the living room, one bedroom and bath are located are difficult to manage since the handrail does not extend to the top of the stairs. Would not recommend for elderly or mobility challenged The area is beautiful and close to all parts of Oslo by tram or Busch
