Within 3.2 miles or less there is a shop, pub and beach. This pod welcomes one well-behaved pet, at an extra cost, however smoking is not allowed. Town: Holbeton, with its meandering streets and thatched homes, is a charming place to visit at any time of year. The village has a shop/Post Office and a bar, and the picture-perfect architecture adds to the atmosphere. The village church was built in the 14th century and features beautiful stained glass, which adds to the delicate atmosphere of the Devonian settlement while also juxtaposing grandeur with its enormous steeple. The River Erme lies nearby, and the sandy beach at Mothecombe is a short drive away. The Dartmoor National Park, as well as the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, are both nearby and provide a multitude of outdoor activities.
