The cabin was a step back in time and that, along with the squeaking and slamming of the screen door, reminded me of going to my grandparents’ house as a child. The sunsets were amazing and the private setting was so peaceful. Andre is a great host and could not have been more accommodating. We will definitely stay here again on future return trips to Door County!

Our stay on Sturgeon Bay was excellent. The cabin is a little vintage in style, very clean, thoroughly equipped, magnificent lake view (right on Sturgeon Bay water front!), with a host, Andre, who bent over backwards to provide hospitality! The cabin is located near to the heart of downtown Sturgeon Bay, close to a wide array of restaurants and the fascinating Door County Maritime Museum. It is also reasonably close to Wal Mart to pick up any food, etc. needed to take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen and dining table.

The cottage was wonderful, just as portrayed. We were a little up from the water but the lake was very accessible with a short walk down the driveway. Andre is the perfect host. Very caring, making sure everything is to your liking, and great if you have a problem or just a question.

Beautiful backdrop

The cottage was a great landing spot for our Door County adventures. We enjoyed the hospitality as well as the beautiful sunsets.

Amazing stay

Very nice tiny cottage, the owner was very friendly and provided us a nice clean stay, I’d say it was a bit pricey but none the less an amazing and beautiful place

Hi Emily - Thank you for your five-star review! You were great guests and enjoyed talking with you during your stay. I don't think our cottages have ever been referred to as tiny though we've always wanted to expand the size of the cottages. When compared to some of +2000 to 5000 sq ft Door County log cabins or cottages, our cottages would be considered small. Because of building code restrictions, we're not able to increase the size of the cottages. We really appreciate your review and for sharing your experience. Best Regards - Andre'
