The space
Thirty minutes south of Durban is the quiet, unspoiled coastal village of Illovo Beach with blissfully balmy weather all year round and the warm tropical water of the Indian Ocean.
With breath-taking sea-views the first floor apartment is fully furnished with one double (en-suite) and one twin bedroom and a spacious open-plan kitchen-dining-living area. The main bedroom and lounge have direct access to a wide terrace with 180 degree sea-view, outdoor furniture and a gas barbeque.

Four kilometres of beautifully soft sandy beach washed by the warm Indian Ocean stretches either side of La Mer. The beach, accessed by a private gate, is a few minutes' walk from the apartment and offers excellent fishing off the beach, safe swimming in shark-net protected waters, blissful sunbathing and endless sand-castle building opportunities. The lagoon at the mouth of the Lovu River is a haven for bird-watching and canoeing.
