Local Transport: A car is highly recommended for your stay, though not completely essential.
If you wish to be fully independent, book your hire car with a reputable company ready to pick up at the airport or we do it for you
If you only wish to have the odd day out, the owner will provide airport transfers and help you to arrange local hire of fully serviced cars, motorbikes, bicycles etc by the day.
The bus services through the village are regular (hourly) , and will take you to Rhodes Town, Lindos and all points between at a reasonable cost. Taxis are also available.
A brief guided tour of Massari village and the two nearby resorts at Haraki and Agathi is provided free, and you will find guide books and maps in the house should you wish to venture further afield.

Leave the car in the square, and wander down past the church, and one of the most beautiful horseshoe bays in the Greece will open out before you. Take a walk along the pedestrian only promenade lined with a single row of laid-back with friendly family run restaurants,tavernas,bars All this is overlooked by the ruins of Pheraklos Castle, which provide an especially dramatic backdrop when lit up at night. During the day, some tavernas offer free sunbeds and parasols if you make use of their bar facilities!

The sea is warm, shallow and clear, providing safe swimming for all, and great snorkeling. Sun beds and parasols are available to rent, and not overcrowded, and there is a choice of 3 licensed marquee style-tavernas serving everything from ice-creams to a 3 course meal at competitive prices.
